Villa Geroni

Outside area is great. Pool is private and there is plenty of seating, with a large outdoor table. Driveway is big, and location is fairly secluded, but also close enough to Pollença. There is a friendly cat who visits the villa. Rooms are spacious.

Air conditioning is on a timer (14:00-16:00 & 20:00-04:00) which cannot be changed. This is not ideal during a heatwave. There was no guide for the house, and the online information was missing things like WiFi password, bin sorting instructions and anything else related to the house. It was hard to contact an actual person, and it seems that Villa Plus use an AI bot to reply to most queries. The decor felt slightly dated, although the kitchen contained everything we needed, although a few dishwasher tablets and some cooking oil would be a nice touch.

Attractive building, good sized rooms, decent bathrooms, good pool, very pleasant garden nicely maintained

Kitchen equipment was of poor quality, and inadequate for cooking anything other than very basic meals – no sieve no baking tins,no whisk,no spatulas, very few small dishes for serving snacks or preparing vegetables. Only four mugs in a villa for six, many sets less than the full complement. On arrival, not even the simplest of basic needs were provided not salt not pepper not vinegar or oil and certainly no sign of anything to sustain late arriving visitors, who would then need to go and shop. And not a sliver of soap, not a single tab for the dishwasher – not a centimetre of washing up liquid - nothing! it was rather disappointing and started our holiday off with rather a sour taste. once we had spent quite a lot on all these basics, life improved. It was upsetting to hear from the agency that any leftovers that we provided would be disposed of. I found that shocking. However, the agency did respond well to fulfilling needs and answering questions. They provided a wash basket and pegs quite quickly and sorted out missing plugs and missing towels. The service staff were kind even though their English was poor, and quite helpful. Overall we had a great holiday as did our friends who joined us - we all wished we could have pursued our love of cooking with greater ease- and we wish the drive down the very narrow lane were not so scary!

some very basic food items such as salt/pepper and oil would be benificial. induction hob unable to have all 3 rings on at once.
