    Disappointed with our stay. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a king room, which we really appreciated. However, the original room had a serious air-conditioning issue. The room was extremely hot, the airflow was very weak, and the aircond kept shutting off even after staff came to check it. We eventually had to change rooms. After changing rooms, we noticed that the original room was actuallu missing quite few things that were provided in the new room — bedroom slippers, bathrobes, bottled water, welcome snacks and a decorative plant in the bathroom vase. The original room’s window was also left wide open when we checked in, which was quite concerning from a safety perspective. The new room, however, had no hand wash provided in the bathroom and no small table beside the chair in front of the TV. There was also a visible reddish stain on the blanket in the original room, which was concerning from a cleanliness and housekeeping perspective. We really appreciated the complimentary upgrade, but the condition of the original room was very disappointing. If the air-conditioning had not failed, we would never have noticed how different the room was in terms of amenities and setup. Hopefully, the hotel can improve its housekeeping, maintenance and room inspection standards.
