Beuatiful and quite accomodation, close to the centre of Oxford - about 6 minutes by local bus..

The location is very beatiful and quite very nice surroundings , good fresh air, it is oposite to nice park , there was in distance - about 5 minutes from accomodation by foot is paralel street with a lot of shops, grocery, restaurants, book shop etc.....Nice and helpfull landlord. The rooms are very clean, the kitchen and bathroom facilities were perfect, nothing was missing. Also it is not so far to the centre of Oxford- by local bus maybe 6-7 minutes , as well as there is good connection to Blenheim palace .

We have stayed here several times and Victor has always been most friendly and accommodating.

The apartment is very well placed near to Summertown shops and restaurants and close to a bus stop for an easy ride into central Oxford.

A home away from home

The apartment has spacious, well lit clean rooms including the bathroom. The place was well stocked with all the necessary amenities. It was almost like staying at one's own home. Staying in this apartment made our first ever trip very memorable.

Good place with a helpful host.

Victor was very helpful, the apartment is well equipped and clean.

Not a big deal, but one should be ready for it - the hot water unit does not appear to be of "a continuous type", so a volume of hot water is OK for about 10 minutes only. After that some time required to heat the water up.

We chose a wonderful week weatherwise and Oxford and the surrounding countryside was looking great.

Although on a busy road, the bedroom is at the back and quiet. Summertown shops and restaurants within easy walking distance are excellent.

There is a washing machine which we didn't need for just a week's stay. A small dishwasher would have been better but I understand for longer lets, the former would be good.

Priddy much everything. The size, the amenities, proximity to grocery shops and some local restaurants, the location (although a bit away from the centre). The host did all his can to make my stay comfortable.

If anything, wifi in the bedroom can be a tad weak.

Exceptional

Very clean apartment. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent location close to shops, restaurants etc. There is secure parking. It's on a main bus route into the city centre, though we usually walked in. There is a nice walk along the canal nearby to Port Meadows or into the centre of the city. The host was very helpful.

Well located, comfortable, and a good value. We would stay there again.

Communication was easy via Whatsapp. The host met us at the property and gave us a tour of the premises and offerings. The bus stop is nearby for a direct bus into the city and parking is available if you have a car. Summertown shops are a five minute walk away for restaurants, supermarkets, and supplies. It was also nice to have a fridge and freezer.

The only things we thought could be improved were that fabric softener should be used on the towels and that the combination washer/dryer would be better with a proper vented dryer, The combo unit really didn't dry our washing even after 2 cycles. We didn't continue as being environmentally conscious we didn't want to waste electricity. Also, the upstairs neighbour had heavy feet late at night. Other than that everything was great.

Absolutely comfortable!

The owner is a nice and considerate gentleman. The flat is wholly very clean and provided with almost everything necessary for daily life. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone that will visit Oxford.

Great value overall, and great location.

The location is excellent. Very easy access to Wolvercote, Summertown and central Oxford. I have stayed here before and for a one bedroom flat in this town it is exceptional value. The host Victor is very friendly and helpful, so altogether a great experience.

Superb

This is a very tastefully decorated, cosy flat with great ambience. The kitchen is really well-equipped. The private parking is a major strength. The location is not central but beautiful, with nice shops and eateries only 5 minutes walk. We would definitely stay there again!

We were surprised that the flat did not come with a smart TV. We could not control the heating and it got a bit chilly but the person who minded the flat responded immediately and solved the problem!

A pleasant flat and would revisit

Very comfortable bedroom which was surprisingly quiet given that the flat is on a main road. The safe did not work on arrival but this was soon solved the next day by Adriana. The flat was well equipped and very clean

The hot water ran warm for 30 seconds and was then tepid to cold. Enough for washing up but not a bath or shower. Bath supplemented with boiled kettles.

Good location, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, clean

Quite close to the road so there is traffic noise. Not all windows can be opened, the bedroom can get stuffy. Not much soundproofing between entrance staircase and bedroom. When people are staying in the upstairs flat it can get noisy.

Great location, Great apartment everything you need is on the doorstep.

The apartment had everything you needed for our week away. Nice to have secure parking too. The best part about our stay was the location. Just a short walk to all the shops restaurants and coffee shops that Summertown has to offer. We enjoyed eating at Mamma Mia pizzeria, El Rincon And Xl'An. Easy to catch a bus into Oxford plus easy to drive to blenheim Palace and bicester village.

Can't think of anything that would need to be improved.

Exceptional

Flat 4 is a very comfortable, clean, easy to find and in an excellent location for access into the city. This is my second stay & I will book again next year when I return to Oxford. Summertown (within 5 mins walk) has many shops, cafes & places to eat if you want somewhere quieter to go out rather than the busy city. There is of course an everything you need kitchen at the flat. Buses run regularly with a stop just a couple of minutes from the flat. Many thanks to Victor for amending my booking & to Adriana for the welcome 😊

Comfortable flat in a very convenient location.

The location near Summertown was excellent for shops/cafes etc. and it was also really easy to get into central Oxford. The bedroom and lounge area felt spacious and relaxing. Although the flat is on a main road the bedroom is right at the back so traffic noise didn't disturb my sleep.

Despite looking on Google Maps before I travelled it was a little tricky to locate the property entrance initially - both finding the car park and then locating flat 4. More specific directions could be helpful. This property felt that it was slightly better set up for a short term let (e.g. visiting research student?) rather than as a holiday property, although it was still a very good base for my stay.

Fantastic accommodation.

Warmly welcomed to this beautifully clean, comfortable accommodation which has everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. Parking included is a real bonus. About 1.5 mile easy walk in to Oxford centre or a bus stop right outside. Local shops are lovely for meals out or your essential foods. We highly recommend this property.

Excelent stay for a good price

The apartment is really nice with a lot of light, the bed is huge and confortable and sofa in the living room as well. The kitchen is fully equiped. There are washing machine, iron machine, microwave, oven, etc... I felt that I had all that I needed in my fourteen days stay. I would recommend this place to everybody.

The fridge was broken during our stay however adriana provided another one which was working fine in few hours.

Виктор хозяин предоставил нам возможность оставить чемоданы в квартире до вечера в день отъезда, профессионализм и внимание уборщицы. Хозяин дал нам наводки по всем местам (магазины, кафе, супермаркеты, транспорт у дверей дома). Прекрасное расположение квартиры близко к центру Оксфорда.

Het huisje was comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bushalte naar het centrum was dichtbij, maar het Oxford Canal was ook een mooie looproute naar het centrum.

Tolle Wohnmöglichkeit für einen längeren Aufenthalt in Oxford

Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Appartment. Bus in die Stadt ca 50 Meter vom Eingang entfernt. Sehr netter Stadtteil mit Geschäften und Supermärkten. Die Wohnung befindet sich im EG mit eigenem Eingang. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten TESCO und MS etc ca 5 - 8 Minuten zu Fuss. Hinter dem gegenüberliegenden Sportplatz gibt es einen Wanderweg direkt am Kanal in die Innenstadt nach Oxford etwa 35 Minuten

Das Appartment wirkt etwas sehr sachlich eingerichtet mit Spiegeln und Leder. Aufhängemöglichkeiten haben uns gefehlt.
