Tassos & Marios Apartments II

L’emplacement, proche de la place dans un quartier privilégié par rapport aux autres coins de la ville et la disponibilité du loueur.

Cuisine vide manquant d’équipements ( pas de cafetière ni grille pain, ni four, manque de prises ou au moins multiprise) et aucun produit de base ( sel, huile, café…) excepté produit vaisselle et un reste de gel douche. Et la télé ne fonctionne pas bien.

The AC worked well, the sea view was breathtaking, and our stay in Zakynthos overall was excellent. Marios, the owner, was very responsive and easy to reach via WhatsApp. Angela, the cleaner, was absolutely lovely — she gave us the best recommendation for a restaurant (Diachroniko, about 7 minutes by car) which turned out to be our top culinary experience on the island!!🤩🥳🥳

The apartment was fine, but overall too basic for our expectations. We missed quite a few things: In the kitchen there was no moka (coffee) pot, only four pieces of each plate/cup, which felt limited. Basic items like salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, rubbish bags, gloves, a wooden spoon, a bread knife, and maaaany other essentials were missing😩 There were no wipes, only one tablecloth and a sponge, which made it difficult to keep the table clean😵‍💫 Since the tap water on the island is not drinkable, it would have been thoughtful to find a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival. Plus: No shower curtain, so the floor was always slippery. Only 2 towel hangers. No parasol/sunshade on the terrace. Wi-Fi was very weak (though this seems to be a common problem on the island). Even though we managed to resolve everything, we would have expected a much better equipped apt (or at least kitchen).
