Artistic and comfortable

The bedroom had an exceptional comfortable bed, it was quite place with artistic surroundings. Big apartment with kitchen area. Breakfast was Italian sumptious.

Peaceful place with best of worlds.

The staff and locals are amazing going above and beyond to help out. We had a beautiful apartment in the villa. Perfect place to recharge read walk and reconnect. Amazingly furnished comfortable and clean. Walk into old town was easy plenty of restaurants. Cannot fault it. Walk among the vineyard in evening beautiful parks nearby. The restaurant onsite generously breakfast and serving delicious food. Thank you so much x

The room and bed were comfortable and the shower was excellent the AC was effective. The staff were friendly and helpful

The location was more rustic than I had expected and the lighting at night made it difficult to safely walk back to my room as there was no lighting near that part of the property

We loved it!

We loved being immersed in nature, whilst just a few minutes from the vibrant heart of Arezzo. The artistically rustic charm of La Striscia was quite magical, and our suite was filled with unusual treasures, with the added bonus of very comfortable. The small bathroom was forgiven.

The resort is so appealing that it seems to attract many evening events, often with music until midnight.

Perfect place for a weekend.

The whole area is stunning, the resort is really picturesque and well maintained. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the service and food was exceptional. Couldn't have expected much better.

Great service from friendly, helpful staff in a magical, unusual place to stay.

A magical place to stay. Very 'artsy' with lovely surprises round every corner (fountain, ponds, rose garden etc). So much imagination has gone into creating this special place. Would love to revisit.

Shower-room was a bit tired and a few of the white goods in our room were not working, but we only strayed one night, so did not need them anyway.

A beautiful spot which demands a return visit

The room (Alice) was beautiful - spacious, comfortable, very tasteful. Loved the big bed, the comfy sofas, the high open-beam ceilings, and the vintage plumbing in the en-suite bathroom. The restaurant provided a beautiful buffet-style breakfast and a wonderful dinner, served by lovely, helpful staff. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool (because of the weather), but it looked lovely too. The surroundings of the accommodation - big mature trees, a profusion of beautiful roses, fountains, enhanced the feel of a very special place.

The shower cubicle in our room could have been bigger (I have broad shoulders).

Very beautiful resort

Very beautiful resort, queit surroundings but also near to Arezzo town. The two- bedroom apartment we stayed was very beautiful decorated , big and comfortable. The gardens were well maintained. The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was rich and delicious! Dinner at their restaurant is recommended too!

The quintessential Tuscany experience!

La Striscia Wine Resort was the kind of Tuscany experience you imagine it to be—peaceful, in touch with nature, and with breathtaking views of the vineyards and the 16th-century gardens and villas. Wine tasting was a one-of-a-kind experience. Mete, the owner, pours his passion for wine, and all there is about it—it’s almost contagious. The rest of the staff was exceptional as well.

Very good

A really quirky, stylishly decorated venue with lots of characterful charm. Stunning outdoor spaces with a shabby-chic, eccentric feel, and really cool decor in all rooms and the restaurant. The apartment we got was absolutely huge - massive for the price we paid, really! Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. Fabulous wine made by the venue - lovely hosts who were so friendly and helpful.

The front door to our apartment felt a bit insecure - it was quite a rickety fully glass door. Things had a bit of a shabby feel in general - v old kitchen etc, although some would say that adds to the charm and for the price, can’t really complain! The food in the restaurant wasn’t brilliant - a bit ‘fine dining’ but didn’t really deliver and was pretty basic for the price, also not the same standard as the abundance of amazing eateries in Tuscany.

Good place to stay for Arezzo

The location was excellent for the vineyard, olive groves and a 20 minute walk to the town The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Arezzo is an attractive place to stay with easy travel to Cortano and Monterche.

The WiFi was poor. The weather was not warm but we had no radiator as apparently this is not allowed in Italy in September. Beware, although this place is marketed as an apartment, there are no kitchen facilities, which one usually associates with the word apartment in English.. The breakfast is substantial but seemed to be the same every day and the fruit was still chilled from the fridge .The outside pool was not cleaned frequently. When we asked reception for a map, we were told we could get one at the Tourist Information in town.

La Strisica is an amazing place. The layout of the property, with many private areas makes it feel as if you have the whole place to yourself. The decor throughout is gorgeous, especially the dining room.

Wonderful accommodation in a superb garden setting. Marco and his staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Pool location was great.

Time to walk to the historic centre was 20 to 25 minutes in very hot conditions. Typically we walked into the centre and took a taxi back to the accommodation.

The swimming pool and size of the room are brilliant. Also breakfast and the coffee (café) are superb. We had a last minute discount so the price was great for the place. You could walk to historical Arezzo if you wish .

We had a dirty towel, that's it really. There was a tile broken in the shower, the tap was lose from the sink and the toilet door didn't close. Still it's minor details that don't weigh up to the incredible swimming pool The place can only get 11/10 if the parking was covered like the piscina for the cars. Because it gets extremely hot. Actually beds with 2. ,10 or 2,20 meters length would help too

An exceptional stay at a Tuscan Wine Resort

We stayed at the Wine Resort for only two nights as it was the first stop of our Italian roadtrip. The Wine Resort lies out of town within the tuscan landscape (ideal for hiking and walking, to Arezzo downtown by car: 5-10 min). We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the lovely garden / Patio for breakfast and dinner (exquiste kitchen, but Arezzo also offers a diversity of restaurants even for vegans) and the lounge for a late night drink. We plunged into the pool which is placed in another part of the garden. We slept save and sound in the room "Maria", dedicated to the nanny of the hosts' family. I loved vintage bath tub in the late sunlight! The room was clean and wonderfully designed. La Striscia has quite a (family) history and you can still feel the familiar atmosphere. Thanks to the really kind manager and his staff we felt welcome at any time. Due to its rather extraordinary style with floral, creative and lovely details, it was not easy to leave that place. But la città Arezzo is also worth a visit - an old Etruscan city full of history and art. We would come back for sure and we can highly recommend La Striscia to anyone who rejoices in exceptional accomodations which are worth its price.

For electric car travellers: Arezzo is not yet provided with convenient charging stations (only for residents) - so we had to drive a few kilometers out of town to find the next charging station.
