Haus Schatzbergblick

First, amazing hosts. Such a beautiful family atmosphere, happy to help with everything. It is in an amazing location, quiet, fresh air, a nice village in the mountains. A big city (Wörgl) is just a few minutes away. And there are other small cities around like Oberau or Niederau with shops, restaurants, and cafes. Luckily, the hosts offer bread rolls every morning. It is a wonderful place to relax and rest. And not so many people around. And there are many great paths around where you can walk around the mountains, enjoy nature, and disconnect from stress. Also, there's a wonderful view from the balcony that is so relaxing, into the forests and mountains. Getting a Wildschonau Card as part of the welcome from the hosts is also extremely helpful.

Nothing negative about the hosts or the stay. Only the village used to be a bit more alive. I can compare it with 2016, my first stay there, and it was perfect in every way. The past two years have taken away a lot from such small and beautiful places. There were many great and full restaurants, even a brewery, in the Mühltal village, but that is gone now. So, without a car, it is difficult to enjoy a meal or visit a nice café. But hopefully that will come back as tourists slowly return to the area.

A bit far from restaurants and shopping. Had to drive. No big deal as breakfast service was available.

It is a small place with very comfortable apartments and extremely friendly owners, who helped us a lot with all our requests. We will definitely come here again!

The apartment was excellent for our 10 day stay in Austria. It was clean and comfortable with good facilities. Balconies on each side were great with good views especially over the fields, hills and forests towards the Schatzberg. The host family were very welcoming and helpful. There are limited facilities in Muhltal but Auffach is easily walkable in about 20 mins and plenty more is accessible by a short drive to Oberau. Plenty of walking available from the apartment. The Bummelbahn can take you up and down the valley. Included Widschoneau guest card was very useful for lifts and some eating out.

Can't think of anything we did not like. What is not to like in a very good apartment with a good host family in beautiful Austrian scenery.
