I stayed in Kyrgyzstan for a lot longer than initially intended and spent much of it at the Golden Dragon. Why? Because the reception staff, especially Aiturgan and Sezim, are doing an outstanding job at making me and other guests feel welcome and comfortable!
Most hotels in Kyrgyzstan offer little to no service, so the team at the Golden Dragon really stands out with their hospitality and helpfulness. I would like to especially commend Aiturgan and Sezim who have been extremely helpful and have gone above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Their approach to customer service is an example to others in the industry and the best possible representation of Kyrgyzstan. Without them, I would not have spent a full month at the same hotel. Thank you very much.
Apart from that, the hotel offers clean and modern rooms, good breakfast, and a pool (during the summer). The only negative point is that some guests smoke in their rooms (even though all rooms are non-smoking) which can lead to occasional unpleasant smells, though this isn't really within the control of the hotel.
