Anlage in Alleinlagen mit herrlichem Blick über die Hügel. Erreichbar auf gutem, langem Schotterweg. Schilderung der Strecke wurde uns geschickt. Einkaufen vorher wird empfohlen! Nächster Supermarkt in Urbania. Kleines Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern etwas abseits und sehr ruhig. Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit Pool. Die Früchte der Maulbeerbäume sind sehr lecker.

Alles gut, wenn man Ruhe liebt und sich selbst versorgen/kochen mag.

Posto incantevole, immerso in un verde da perdere il fiato. Abbiamo soggiornato insieme al nostro cane di piccola taglia che ha potuto godere di aria pulita e di un prato immenso in cui giocare. Lo staff davvero accogliente e alla mano, che ci ha lasciato un bellissimo ricordo. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

The good: a cute property which was well maintained both inside and out (apart from an odd stain on the toilet), clean and nicely decorated. In the middle of nowhere so relatively peaceful and great for stargazing. Tasty homemade cakes for breakfast. An abundance of dogs running around which was great for our dog to play and socialise too. The hosts booked a good restaurant for us when we had difficulty doing so, offered a welcome drink, and gave us ice when we asked for it.

The bad: as the other reviews have said, the long road to the property is in a bad state (steep, dusty, stoney and many pot holes). Of course, it's out of the jurisdiction of the hosts but it's worth thinking about if you're concerned about your car. In addition, if you're not keen on insects buzzing about your head/crawling on you/stinging you day and night, this isn't the place for you. Again, not a fault of the hosts and yes I know it's in nature but it was particularly unpleasant. The breakfast is a large communal table where you have to wait for your turn to be served - not everyone is a morning person and this setting can cause discomfort. The ugly: upon arriving we were met with a barrage of 'rules' to abide by. In addition, there are more rules written in the bedroom and more rules by the swimming pool. We were also made to feel unwelcome in requesting lunch or dinner. We witnessed 'guest dogs' and guests, including ourselves, being told off numerous times (serisoulsy!) by the two owners for trivial things. As the owners decided to do this mainly in front of the other guests at the communal breakfast, we ended up discussing/laughing about it with the other guests who also found it too heavy and uncomfortable - in fact one said it made them want to leave earlier than planned. It really was too much, luckily myself and my partner know how to 'stick up' for ourselves which is a ridiculous thing to have to do. Even if these things hadn't been so trivial, if the two hosts want to impose such rules and standards on their guests, then at least they should start with themselves; our identity documents were left out exposed overnight on top of the reception desk. Of course we didn't say anything needlessly as that's what adults do, but you get the point. British folks: imagine Hyacinth Bucket as a headteacher and you get the drift of this place.
