Grand Hôtel Lévêque

Great view from the balcony and excellent location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was very simple with not a great deal of choice for the money. Also, I have medical dietary requirements and unfortunately my only option was gluten free bread and soya milk. To have the bread toasted meant putting it into a toaster on the side that was used for ordinary bread - therefore meaning it was not coeliac safe. Although soya milk was provided there were no gluten free cereals to have with it. At over €400 per night I would certainly have expected better.

*Very friendly staff *helpful staff organised airport taxi and hotel has baggage storage for your last day after checkout *great location *15 minutes walk to The Eiffel Tower *great restaurants and cafes and food stalls, cash points, on same cobbled street as the hotel- on Rue Cler *Very nice breakfast : cold cooked different hams & cheeses. Fresh fruit salad. Fresh apples, bananas, freshly pressed fruit juice. Breads, pancakes, croissants, breads, scrambled egg, boiled eggs, potato hash browns, hotdogs type sausages, honey, yoghurt, selection of teas, coffee, water *Good quality bed linen and towels. The maids changed the sheets and towels after 2 nights, when I put the door sign on to clean the room. *good shower, choice of handheld/wall or rainfall from ceiling. * Very clean and pleased with the service. *room has air-conditioning and can open windows. *quiet area for sleep *elevator great as we were on 5th floor. It is small, so if you have massive cases, you may have to have one person at a time, but we managed fine.

Slightly firm mattresses for my liking Room slightly smaller than I imagined it would be Air-conditioning must have been on a timer that went off for a while in the small hours, as kept waking hot, but that might have been me & it was always lovely and cool when we came back from at lunchtime and in the evening

Location great, and staff superb. Our only gripe was how small the room was - it was tiny.
