Der Löffler 3ˢ Superior-Hotel am Semmering

Location was central to hiking, restaurants and grocery store. The owners & staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a 10 - lots of choicest.

We are seniors, the shower was difficult to enter and exit. Clean, good water pressure with soaps and shampoos.

Great location on Semmering in summer, great climate, silent and within reach from Festspiele Reichenau. Highly recommended

It was a lovely hotel finished to a high standard.

Dining room closed we would have liked to have eaten here.

we booked 2 rooms which were both clean. one offered a fridge which was convenient. the hotel was close to the ski slopes and the staff were polite, friendly, and communicated well in English . the rooms had good views, were warm and the beds were comfortable.

we felt slightly misled by reviews on booking dot com which indicated praise for the restaurant and its food in general. that helped us choose this hotel. however they don’t provide dinner in the hotel anymore (there was a sign that there was a shortage of staff). Even though we paid a large sum of money for 2 rooms for our family it was disappointing when we were informed that we had booked a room only mate. we feel we got poor value for money so we organised our own breakfast. we weee recommended local restaurants near the hotel but they were closed every night we went there and had to travel further for our evening meal but we found somewhat pleasant places in the end. the hotel felt like an upmarket hostel due to low staffing levels and lack of dinner service. don’t choose this hotel because of its food reviews. but it does provide a comfortable clean and pleasant stay aside from the price.
