The double bed was so uncomfortably hard we had poor sleep and back ache which isn’t good, especially on a holiday.

Great apartment in need of some updates. Fabulous skiing!

Nice quiet location. Great size and layout of apartment for 6 persones, Plenty of cooking utensils, plates and glasses. Excellent to have separate shower, shower/bath and 2 toilets. There was always plenty of hot water and the apartment was lovely and warm The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and the management company dealt with our complaint very well.

The apartment was very grubby when we arrived and the oven had burnt food and crumbs. The fridge was also dirty and had not been wiped out, It took us a couple of hours to sweep, hoover, wipe out the oven and disinfect key areas. The carpets were badly stained, dusty and need replacing. There was inadequate hooks for coats and little storage in general. Don't take large rigid cases as there is nowhere to store them! We were a party of 8 - the sofa beds in the main living area were good but there was a lack of storage in the area for the suitcases clothes and bedding of the people staying in there and not much room anywhere else that was easy to access, The ski locker was unheated and very difficult with 8 personnes - ideal for 6 though. We carried our boots to and from the apartment as they did not dry in the locker area.

In need of renovation

Nice view of the mountains from the appartment. Easy to get around, decent ski lockers, and indoor parking (extra fee). No need to use your car anymore after you arrive. Note this is not ski in and ski out though - there is a walk up to the 'Gerets' ski-lift, or a bus. All very doable, but you cannot ski in and out of the appartment.

Beds are extremely hard, and our appartment was a bit run down and just not cared for lovingly. With a large overhaul (basically new everything) and most importantly better beds it could be quite nice. We had a 'large appartment', but note this is still extremely small. Theoretically it fits 8 people, better make sure you are good friends! We were 5 and that is plenty.

comfortable, loaction good, amazing views!

location right on the doorstep of walking trails, shops and restaurants- only problem is there was no information on how to locate them and no one to ask. Flaine is a strange place in that everything is hidden, so after driving up and down the mountain a few times, we eventually found the bakery and by the end of the day after a lot of searching through the concrete found the hub of the town. the view from the balcony was incredible, kitchen and more than one bathroom making it perfect for a family stay. clean and convenient and great value for money.

we arrived very late so were kindly provided with the door code and a message saying the key would be left for us. i had to call the French number to find out where it was left and had no idea about how on earth to find our parking bay, with no information in the welcome letter about what the various keys/ cards were for or how to find anything in our surroundings. we had to check in the next day but reception had no one on it so there was never anyone to ask and the tourist office up the road was closed in the summer. just one half toilet roll between two toilets and bedding in laundry bags (clean) on the beds so we had to make up 5 beds at 11pm at night which was not ideal. that all said, and now knowing our way round Flaine, I would recommend this property for convenience, comfort, and a friendly service.

Perfect location and friendly accomodation that needs improvement for the beds and wifi

Location and friendliness are really good, but the bed is really bad. Very small and hard. We used all the blankets we had to make it a little more comfy. Also the tact that you have to pay for wifi is not of this time anymore. We rented a wifi box for 7 eur per day and still it was not reliable. That’s a pity!

A nice mountain holiday could stay longer

Fantastic view from the living room window, nice design of the living room, well furnished and equipped kitchen, bakery open from early morning next door, nice food shops next door, a rather isolated holiday resort but with nice hiking trails right there

When the main entrance door to the building broke down and it was not possible to get inside it was hard to get assistance/ help

Good base for nice walks.

The flat was a good size, for 2 people. I was able to bring my dog, we had a lovely view from the balcony.. There were several nice walks straight from the apartment. Access on foot to shops and restaurants. Free car parking place on the premises. Fully equipped kitchen

Really ugly concrete apartment blocks - what a pity! No warning of a 500 Euro deposit required on the booking.com website. This is only given at confirmation time from the property, by which time you can no longer cancel without losing money. If you have a small budget on your credit card, 500E gives it a good squeeze, so make sure you budget for it. Wi-fi costs extra, and not very good. Be prepared to spend an hour doing an itemised inventory of the apartment when you arrive. You will be given a list of every single item in the apartment and asked to tick each item, and hand it back the day after your arrival. Not the most relaxing thing to have to do when you're on holiday! You can pay extra for cleaning to be done for you at the end of your stay, but it is given as 55-80 Euros on the website. They tried to charge 82 Euros, which I refused. It would be helpful if the price could be more specific on the website - it depends on apartment size. There were only 2 of us in an apartment for 8. We could not imagine having 8 people here.

good value for the money

The apartment is large, very well equipped , very clean with an amazing view from the huge balcony. The staff is very polite and helpful. There is a shop nearby where you can buy almost all you may need. We would like to come back in the winter season.

The access to the underground parking is a little bit difficult if you have a big size car. A washing machine would have been great.

Très bon séjour gâché par une literie en dessous de tout.

Emplacement de l'immeuble pratique. Garage dans l'immeuble pratique. Très belle vue.

La literie est atroce. Je pèse mes mots. Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous allons dans cette résidence et quel que soit l'appart, c'est pareil. Suite au dernier séjour, nous avons décidé de ne plus retourner là, tant pis car l'appart est nickel mais mal dormir et se casser le dos pour un prix si élevé, c'est fini !

Apartament a l'entrada de Flaine confortable, amb bones vistes i preu assequible

Tot i que vem haver d'adelantar la tornada, els dies que vem estar vem poder gaudir d'un apartament molt ben equipat. Amb un matalàs confortable (de mida una mica just), una zona de menjador amplia-còmode-amb bones vistes, bany amb banyera, cuina amb tots els estris necessaris. L'Emelien ens va fer fàcil el check-in al parlar castellà. I tb ens van facilitar el check out express que vem haver de fer per tornar abans. Els gossos van estar com a casa i això ajuda a gaudir de l'estança. Un lloc recomanable

Les dimensions del llit poder són una mica justa si ets una persona corpulent o alta. Nosaltres som de cuinar a casa, i tot i que teníem tot tipus d'estris vem trobar a faltar espai per fer la preparació. Poder una taula plegable collada a la paret podria afegir aquest espai extra. L'altre punt q ens va sorprendre va ser el cost extra del pàrquing. No sabíem que Flaine si vols deixar el cotxe al poble has d'estar allotjat i pagar una taxa per deixar-lo. Per la resta tot genial.

Appartement spacieux bien agencé et bien équipé. Nous avions loué un appartement pour 6 et étions 4. À 6 cela aurait pu être un peu exigu. Personnel très agréable et disponible. Ski bus devant la résidence.

Première semaine de location de la saison. Appartement un peu poussiéreux.
