Vacancéole – Le Domaine de Camiole

This was our third stay at this accommodation, and we were happy to come back. The location is very nice, surrounded by small mountain villages and with a lake nearby. The apartment is comfortable and very quiet, with a stable and pleasant temperature throughout our stay, which made it easy to relax. We liked the stylish and cosy design, and everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, and I especially liked the many paintings on the walls. The property has large swimming pools and a spacious area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are supermarkets nearby, and the location is convenient for exploring the lake and the surrounding towns. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would be happy to come back again.

This time, unfortunately, there were no umbrellas around the swimming pool. We were wondering what happened to them, as with temperatures of around 35°C, some shade would have been very welcome, especially in the middle of the day. We would also recommend checking the booking conditions carefully to make sure you know whether bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in your reservation or charged separately. We had a misunderstanding regarding these additional costs during our stay. Fortunately, the staff were very helpful and understanding and helped us resolve the situation. Apart from this, we had a comfortable stay and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff.

This is a perfect place to stay. A little pricey at 160 euro but lots of space, really clean, great linen, two showers and great kitchen facilities. The pools are perfect for 9+ and there is a very shallow kiddy pool. No great pool for age 6-9. But that is just for info. The staff are very helpful and there is a great little town close by. Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.
