Herdade do Vau

O sossego e o ambiente, bem como o conforto da casa e dos espaços comuns, foram ideais para recarregar baterias. O pessoal é extremamente prestável e simpático e o pequeno-almoço era delicioso e muito completo.

O acesso à herdade, principalmente os últimos 3,5kms deixaram poucas saudades para quem teve de fazer o caminho de moto. Esperamos que a via possa ser arranjada em breve, pois gostaríamos muito de voltar.

The hote room! Doesn’t have black outs, bathroom doesn’t have doors… not comfortable AT ALL

* The grounds: The property itself is gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful scenery with great hiking trails accessible directly on foot. * The staff: Truly the highlight of our stay - exceptionally warm, helpful, and welcoming.

* The pool: The pool water was untreated during our visit - it was visibly hazy and full of bugs, making it uninviting for a swim. * Maintenance issues: There was visible mold on some of the walls, along with noticeable wear and tear (broken plaster/cracks) in several areas that need urgent attention. * Breakfast: Decent enough to start the day, though the selection was fairly limited and lacked variety. * Amenities & Entertainment: * The rooms are basic and minimalist, but sufficient for a short stay. * There are no TVs in the rooms - if you like evening entertainment, bring a laptop or tablet. * The tennis court is aged and unmaintained, though still usable for a casual game. * The ping pong table is also showing its age, but it was clean and provided a few fun games!
