The shared facilities were amazing! We visited early in the season so everything was super clean and quiet. I have never used nicer and more thoughtfully designed family washrooms.(In one enclosed room -toilet and a little toilet, shower and a raised shower for a kid, sink and a sink with a counter to comfortably clean a baby or a toddler).

The location is located not too far from Hemsedal Skiarea

We stayed here for one night as a stop over on our way to Hemsedal. Unfortunately the communication on this add is not clear enough. The place charge extra fees for both cleaning, for providing bed lined and towels (and for bringing your dog). The thing is that they do not inform about the actual prices of their extra fees before you make the booking. The extra fees ended up doubling our price for the overnight stay. Also, you must be aware of the fact that you even have to put on the provided bedlinen and make the beds yourselves. So if you arrive late in the evening (which is also only possible until a specific time and then they shut the gate so you are not able to enter), you have to deal with all these extra things. If you've been driving all day to make it there, the last thing you need is to make your own beds, and clean a whole house before you leave. Also, the place looks more old and worn down in real life then in the pictures. We would therefore not recommend you go here for and overnight stay.
