The food lacked a lot of quality. The hotel must focus on hiring new cooking staff to improve the quality of food as soon as possible.

The resort is very overpriced for what is an aging resort in need of a major renovation. I stayed in the ocean-facing "suite" but the room is in need of a total facelift with leaking aircon. The management seems obsessed with extracting every peso they can, from the ridiculously expensive "corkage" charges for personal drinks to the F&B costs. I brought with me a large family group of 10, taking three rooms and spent over 180,000 pesos for the four night stay but they were going to charge 150 pesos for a broken bowl until we objected. The restaurant food is terrible and the breakfasts are minimal and basic. On the last morning, I ordered the chia bowl for breakfast and it was a joke, a few chia seeds and bits of fruit floating in a sea of milk. I then asked for some toast to compensate and they tried to charge me extra which I then refused to pay. We ended up eating most meals at local restaurants. The staff are warm and welcoming but it appears that the management has forced them to constantly look for extra revenue.
