Pagaseon Rooms and Apartments

We zijn hier eerder geweest, dat zegt al genoeg. Aardige gastheer, goede locatie vlak bij de zee, restaurants, coffeehouse en winkeltjes, fijn zwembad, praktisch ingericht appartement. Heel comfortabel bed. Goed voorzien keukentje. Groot balkon met goede zonwering. Erg fijn verblijf.

De waterdruk in de douche is laag (ons appartementje ligt op de tweede verdieping). Een theedoek in de keuken zou fijn zijn.

The property itself is lovely — clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. The rooms were comfortable, had everything we needed, and the air conditioning was absolutely divine in the July heat. Having a pool on-site was a real bonus for the area. Dimitri, the host, was kind and helpful — he arranged all our taxis and was always available if we needed anything. Kala Nera surprised us with how many restaurants and tavernas there were — lots of choice and a lovely, laid-back feel. The beach was nice, and we also enjoyed a great catamaran day in nearby Volos, which is just a short trip away.

The pool rules were a bit too strict for our liking. As two couples aged 35–44, we were just excited to enjoy our holiday and relax, but inflatables weren’t allowed, and our beach ball was confiscated on the first day. While we understand wanting to keep things calm, it felt a bit heavy-handed — we weren’t being rowdy, just having a bit of fun. A slightly more flexible approach around the pool would have made our stay even better.
