Szinbád Hotel

It was really clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

The sound of the washing machines in the middle of the night. I don’t mind, but for other people may be important to note that it has a lot of stairs.

Location is excellent. Only a few minutes away from the city centre where the most beautiful squares, museums, churches and other attractions are. We were there only for one night and had no luggage, therefore we walked from the rail station in 15-20 minutes. Otherwise there are buses. Breakfast was very generous, good variety of food items, like kefir, yogurts, jams, and a choice of omelettes freshly made for us and fresh bread. The room was clean and spacious. The room has a mini fridge, which we appreciated. They provided a hair dryer. There is a restaurant providing lunch and dinner, if required.

The bathroom was rather small. We were surprised they didn't provide a kettle, however, we asked for a hot cup of water and we were given it readily. Some real cheese rather than cheese spread portions would have been good. We could hear people speaking and laughing in another room after 11.00 o'clock. I had to use my ear plugs.

Location. Breakfast was OK.

The room was very small. The bed was too small and uncomfortable. Too pricey, not worth the money.

The object was clean and there was a parking for the guests which is a plus.

Bathroom - shower door broken, and the bath floor was moving as you step on it + very slippery. Beds - you fall inside of the bed, and you have to be careful when stepping out because it's moving with you. Breakfast - disappointing. Sausage and salami plate always empty, no variety, every day the same, eggs, sausage, butter, marmalade, that's it. Rooms have windows on the joint patio and restaurant terrace. You have to have curtains if you don't want to be seen by people passing by. Also, in the evening/night, it's very noisy. Hotel staff apparently allow people to sit there in the passage where they drink, smoke, and speak loudly. It's impossible to sleep. Maybe this hotel is good for one night sleepover, but in comparison with some other 4star hotels in Pecs, I would say that it's too expensive.
