Nice panorâmica view

Great stay, mostly if you get a room on the upper floor(s). Really, really helpful ladies at the front desk, providing detailed info on the island spots, available transportation etc.

The hotel has a wonderful view from the balcony. It is located near food, shopping and the sights of KALYMNOS. The owner speaks good English and responds to requests for assistance
The hotel is NOT located where it is shown on the booking.com map. It is almost 2 kilometers from the ferry dock, and getting there involves a steep climb over the winding streets and alleys of old Kalymnos. So travelers with bags, BEWARE. The check-in did not go smoothly at all. First the credit card machine malfunctioned (not sure why) and the owner requested cash in payment for the room, and it took a firm answer from me that the only option was to pay with a credit card that made the machine work on the second try. Then the remote control for air conditioning in my room didn’t work and the owner suggested that I open the windows instead. Again I firmly refused and reminded that the room description on booking.com included a working a/c. Then the owner turned on the a/c but made disparaging statements about “Americans always wanting air conditioning”. The check-in was not a pleasant experience to say the least.
