the restaurant was pleasant and the food was very good.

the room was disappointing with no shower,and a very tired,basic room in need of updating. there was no communal area available in the hotel that was comfortable to relax in. service was slow and although the young staff were clearly inexperienced, they were pleasant.

A really good overnight stop

I have stayed at this hotel before. It is a good location close to A85 autoroute and local superstore for fuel. The hotel is away from the town centre but ideal for an overnight stop. An excellent veggie menu for evening meal and breakfast. Excellent value for money.

The breakfast could have had fruit and bio yoghurt.

Overnight stay in charming coaching inn

The hotel is really well run by the proprietor. It is a very old building with contemporary fittings in each room. The bed was very comfortable, good sized shower over the bath and very quiet. The location is exceptional and worth a short detour from the A85 autoroute. The stay stayed overnight enroute travelling south. Veggie evening meal was really good. Excellent service.

Okay

The place is quite attractive- quiet and right next to a beautiful small 12th century church. The staff are friendly . The rooms are ok , and obviously an effort has been made to make them adequate for guests in the modern world, probably with limited funds. I thought my main food dish was not particularly well cooked, and also inadequate . Certainly Not a place for either a discerning or a hungry diner. We were shocked in the morning when we were having a coffee and about to leave to be boorishly accused by the host (who had not been around the previous evening) of being about to leave without paying. We showed him the Booking.com invoice, he made a phone call and then asked for the card CVV number. It seemed that his staff had been at fault for not taking it from us on arrival- but his attitude was extremely unfriendly and accusatory.

TOUT Le petit déjeuner banal, le confort de la chambre execrable, il faisait étouffant, la salle de bain date des années 60, pas de douche, d’aeration…pas de frigo dans la chambre ni même un ventilateur, il faisait mourrant de chaud. Le sol de la salle de bain en lino, craquelé… vieux meubles +++ Nuit horrible Nous comptions prendre le repas du soir mais restaurant fermé car férié (15 août) Aucun intérêt pour cet hôtel Très bruyant, java des voisins toute la nuit

Hôtel bien situé (notamment pour visiter le zoo de beauval) , chambre un peu d époque, mériterait un petit rafraîchissement mais fonctionnel. Propre. Petit déjeuner à la française. Personnel très agréable. Hôtel typique, à l ancienne, bien différent des chaînes d aujourd’hui.

Un hôtel charmant, au calme, à l'accueil chaleureux . Un personnel jeune et très professionnel , un responsable passionné par son métier, une cuisine simple réalisée avec de bons produits et à un prix très abordable, servi dans une jolie petite salle de restaurant donnant sur un extérieur agréable. Une chambre au rdc (ventilateur et chauffage selon saison) face à un environnement verdoyant et une jolie petite église de campagne, un parking à disposition, une boite à livres. Un secteur calme où on se sent bien, à proximité des axes mais sans subir le trafic. J'y retournerai dès que possible. Un hôtel comme on les aime dans cette si belle région de FRANCE. Cet hôtel restaurant sans chichi, authentique, mérite d'être recommandé.
