Mohlos Villas

Everything was perfect. Our host, Yannis, was exceptional and gave us the warmest welcome. The place was very clean, cozy, and we had everything we needed. The pool was very spacious, even for 10 people, and the clear night sky was probably a paid actor during our stay!

I wouldn't be able to criticize anything even if I wanted to.

L'accueil avec un panier garni de bienvenue TRES généreux. La situation géographique à 2 minutes du port, des restaurants et d'une supérette. Une vue INCROYABLE. La décoration chaleureuse et des pièces de vie et des terrasses vastes. Le personnel d'entretien aux petits soins. Aucun vis à vis et très calme.

Les choses qui pourraient rendre ce logement encore plus que super seraient : une cuisine un petit mieux équipée (plaques de cuisson électrique) et des petites améliorations quant à l'écoulement de l'eau sur le rebord de la baignoire qui peut faire Une flaque dans la salle de bain si l'on ne fait pas attention.

Huset ligger högt lite ovanför den lilla fiskebyn. Utsikten är betagande från alla tre villorna. Poolen är fin och huset välskött. Växtlighet skapar en mjuk atmosfär. Badrum till varje sovrum gör vardagen enkel. Att mötas av lite vatten, ost, ägg, mjölk etc i kylskåpet och en nybakad sockerkaka som fortfarande är varm gör det där lilla extra. Standen i Mochlos är inte riktigt värt att kalla en strand men snorklingen är riktigt bra liksom fisket och det finns en fin lugn strand 20 min bort med bilen ( Paralia Tholos)

Lite litet kök och lite dåligt med köksutrustning. Lyckades dock få igång grillen och grilla kyckling och då göra egen grekisk sallad, tzatziki och klyftpotatis i ugnen samt spagetti bolognese.

The apartment is very light with a large and comfortable living area and a big terrace. It has two good sized bedrooms, one with en-suite shower and the other with a shared bathroom. There views from the terrace are great for watching sunrises and sunsets and looking over the village and the island just off shore. The little swimming pool was well maintained and a great way to cool down in the hot afternoons. The walk down to the village is only a few minutes, so being a little out of the center was not a problem at all. Mohlos is a wonderful village. Not overdeveloped, and with some excellent tavernas and a little shop. When the winds are not too strong, the snorkelling in the bay is amazing and swimming round the island is a nice 1.5km. Of course, the strong north wind is a frequent visitor in July and August, but we were lucky to only have it for three days. Yannis was a lovely host. Very kind and responsive through WhatsApp and with good advice on what to do and see.

The facilities are showing their age, but everything was functional or was quickly replaced. For example, when we arrived, the fridge wasn't able to get to cool down to a safe temperature, but Yannis was very responsive and had it replaced the next day (which was a sunday). There wasn't a good non-stick frying pan, and a new one appeared in a matter of hours of my mentioning it. Thanks, Yannis!
