Quite literally under the flight approach to the airport. Planes flew directly over the hotel at about 500feet altitude. Nothing can change that and it’s only 5/6 planes about 10am and 5pm

Descent for one night by the airport

-Beautiful views

- The balconies are not covered. I paid for a balcony room but it rained so all of the floors and furniture was too wet to use. - No ac, even though they say they have it. My room got to 25.5 degrees. I had the door open but then the floors were getting wet from the rain, and bugs would fly in. -I had to leave too early for the breakfast. It would have been nice if I could have gotten something to go. Even a water...

Sunbed allocation system is too small for the size of the hotel. Only 40-50 beds in a small crowded area that don’t get the sun in a 3rd of it mid-late afternoon

Well located hotel near to Dubrovnik

Great location outside of busy Dubrovnik but only a ferry ride away. Clean, quiet, pleasant staff, great buffet breakfast and perfectly placed in Cavtat to be near restaurants and facilities. We had a waterfront view which topped it all off.

Very convenient, modern property with beautiful views of the bay! The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast selection was extensive. Parking was easy and the staff was quick to help. We booked to be close to the airport, and experienced one of the highlights of our trip! We loved our stay and will return again to this charming town!

Nice hotel overall but pool area disappointing

- Good location with great views of Cavtat Harbour - The food in the outdoor a la carte restaurant was lovely - We had a nice sea view room, which was clean and the bed was very comfortable. - All the staff were helpful and friendly

My only real issue was the pool area:- 1. you have to pay extra to use the hotel pool area. It’s €5 per sun-bed per day and you must book in advance via reception. I’ve never come across this before! I can imagine during peak season it would get booked up quickly as the pool area is quite a small space. 2. the sun-beds are pushed very close together (you feel packed in like a sardine) and so you can’t really move your bed with the sun. 3. Pool/Beach towels also require a €5 deposit. The views from the pool are lovely (it’s on the rooftop) but I personally wouldn’t recommend you stay here if you’re wanting to spend a lot of time sunbathing by the pool as you might find it’s already fully booked. For the price of the hotel (we paid c.€279 for one night) I would expect to be able to use the pool and towels for free!!

A great hotel in a superb location , the team provide great customer service consistently . Chill with a drink at the hotels restaurant / bar and take in the views , see photos I would definitely highly recommend this hotel .

Had amazing sea view. Very clean throughout. Friendly attentive staff. Chic bedroom and bathroom. Lovely outdoor seating areas. Great choice at breakfast.

Balcony very narrow. Small area for sunbeds. Delux room should have robes & slippers. Reception staff could be a bit more welcoming.

Clean, good location but expected a bit more from this hotel

The beds were very comfortable, very good location. Good services such as good massages etc. Good selection at breakfast time. Checkout time is 11 which is handy and can keep bags in storage

There was some sort of work being done which we weren’t aware of. From 7.30/8am we could hear drilling. It seemed like you had to reserve sunbeds which we weren’t aware. We were not offered towels/ nothing was mentioned to us about beach towels to rent. The hotel is quite confusing with elevators going to certain floors and another going to different floors. The waterfall shower head wasn’t working correctly and spraying over the glass and soaking the floor in bathroom. We ended up having to use all our towels to dry the bathroom. Small luggage storage - would be great if they had a facility(paid) to weight your suitcase before going to the airport.

Very low furniture in communal areas and on balcony. Not suitable for anyone with the slightest joint issues. Having to walk through reception to get to pool - due to style of building. Having to pay deposit for pool towels. Having to pay for sunbed at Hotels beachfront swimming area. Only 1 out of 3 coffee machines working at breakfast sitting caused chaos.

Check in was a mess. I was on the 8th floor. First off i was given the wrong keys, then the keys weren’t activated, then when I finally got in the room (half an hour after check in) there was champagne and a letter to a different guest, which wasn’t reassuring as I expected someone who come in whilst I was relaxing. No one answered the calls so I had to go down again and get it sorted. Breakfast pretty forgettable - juice wasn’t good, coffee wasn’t fresh, pastries were stale. I didn’t bother on the second morning and instead went to the local bakery 5 mins down the road.

Absolutely stunning hotel with incredible views! Lower level bar/restaurant area where you can literally sit next to the sea. Clean, beautifully decorated rooms and a super delicious breakfast. Brilliant booking system for pool chairs! Very organised.

The lifts were bad as had to wait 5 times to get into them The breakfast wasn’t good as most of the fruit came from a can ! Lack of variety of cereals and no greek yoghurt. Not everyone wants a cooked breakfast!

We will be back, will do some things differently

The hotel charges for the sunbed around the pool which allows you to prebook the location in 4 hour lots. The charges are redeemable by QR code or directly at the pool bar. It was good not to have fight for a bed on the day. The hotel must have been recently renovated and it showed in the quality of the rooms and common areas.

The pool is open from 8:00 to 20:00 but it was not clear from the sunbed voucher instruction that it can only be redeemed from 10:00 to 18:00. We asked the hotel to organise our airport transfer. We were told the charge was €20, cash or card, payable to the driver. We were disappointed when we attempted to pay by card the driver requested an additional 10%. A small downer on a great holiday.

Our room was very small with nowhere to open our suitcases and hardly room to move around. The parking situation was very poor with very little spaces.

Lovely clean hotel in a fabulous position

Check in staff not very helpful, could be the language barrier. When my daughter explained her nut allergy at breakfast she wasn’t taken seriously and ended up not eating any for the first few days as felt too worried. There was a number system for allergies but not everything tagged and others mixed up.

The view was absolutely spectacular! The staff were very friendly and nice. The pool was amazing, and we loved the voucher system - you paid €5 per bed and received an €5 voucher to use in the pool bar. Everything was so easy!

The pool situation was bizarre. On our day of arrival all sunbeds were booked and there was nowhere to sunbathe without having a bed. It’s a beautiful roof top infinity pool but only useable if you pay extra for a bed and get there super early.

Confusing lifts as the hotel consists of two buildings joined by the lifts with half of level 3 on one floor and half on another. Needed better signage to be comfortable to use. The manager for breakfast was an unpleasant person to be around, chastising the staff in front of everyone in an unkind way. The staff spent some time hiding from him and we completely understood why.

Location was local and convenient

The reception staff on arrival were not the most friendly. Disappointed we had to pay a deposit for the beach towels and on the sunbeds by the pool you had to pay to use and book locations and you could only book them for morning or afternoon slots only, if there were other people on our page from the morning they were made to move which was very embarrassing even when there were other beds we could use. Beach beds we had to pay €15 a time . Breakfast felt a bit like a Cantine. There was a fridge in the bedroom, but this was empty , there was no water supplied for the room. If we did take any cup or anything back to the room, these were not cleared away when the room was made up in the mornings after three days we had to put them out in the hallway to be taken. The balcony was not cleaned at any point, the table had marks on and the glass door had smears, these were noticeable and should had been cleaned.

Awful experience..I never wanted to go on a cruise ship

view terrible...view .to a parking lot and a building being constructed....nothing in the mini bar...no water... pool on 5th floor...ridiculously small small tv, small towels...room next to the AC of the building...should have paid half of what I paid....really very basic and uninteresting happy to leave

Perfect end to our honeymoon, with dreamy views and exceptional hospitality.

We stayed at Hotel Cavtat for the final night of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. The room was beautiful, and the ocean view was an absolute dream. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We enjoyed drinks at the restaurant, which had a lovely atmosphere. To our surprise, the staff gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon—it was such a thoughtful gesture that truly made us feel special on our last day in Croatia. We can't wait to come back!
