Mahoora Wilpattu - by Eco Team

A magical set up very close to Wilpattu. Our tent was super comfortable and the entire area is set up very well with good privacy for each tent and a very nice campfire and dining area. Bonfire time was very nice with a little bar table for evening drinks. The staff are exceptional, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful from reception, to cleaning, to serving staff. Lovely. Included in the price are the additional extras of afternoon, evening and early morning walks and the opportunity to have a local cooking experience which are all very enjoyable.

When the booking system allows you to book all inclusive it is a good deal. There were problems on the system for us with booking one night with meals included so we booked tent only. When the cost of the meals were added it didn’t quite feel the same value. An odd system. This was the only aspect we felt could be improved.

Cozy & Interesting glamping experience in Willpattu National Park. Very professional and friendly staff. Excellent food (dinner and breakfast). Clean and comfortable tents.

Tents definitely need Air Conditioning and an additional fan. Pathways to the dinning area should be properly lit specially since there can be creepy crawlies. Also directions should be marked

The stay was fantastic, and the glamping tent itself was really impressive and comfortable. The guided walks were a great bonus and very interesting, and the food was excellent, including the breakfast they packed for our safari. Overall, it felt like a really special experience.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

Do not organise a safari through them, it's expensive, much cheaper elsewhere and you get the exact same experience. and the packed meals you pay for sit on the passenger seat in the sun all day and what you get for the amount they charge is like 3x restaurant prices for actual decent meal. for the price of the safari packed meals should be included. It's a massive money grab.
