Our favorite hotel- Consistently Excellent Stay

This is our favorite hotel in Nowy Dwór Gdański- we've been staying there for years and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean, modern, and nicely appointed. The beds are super comfortable, the breakfast is always delicious, the staff is helpful & the hotel restaurant is always surprising us with it's tasty menu.

Perfect stay with very helpful staff.

This is a GREAT option for long or short stays in this area. The hotel is cosy & quiet, with a very helpful staff. The restaurant on-site serves delicious food, so you don't even have to go anywhere.

The hotel is really popular & so is the restaurant, so parking can be a bit difficult.

Great interior poor breakfast!

It looks like the hotel has recently been completely renovated with great designer work, starting from the hallway and ending with the bathrooms. The number of lights and outlets in the room outnumbers even the most highly rated world hotels. Walls has beautiful old-time photo reproductions of this old house and city. It is worth mentioning that the room, besides the teapot, instant coffee, and tea packs, has a beautiful, refillable sparkling water cylinder which you can refill in the restaurant, located downstairs, and enjoy refreshing sparkling water again and again in the hot summer evenings since the rooms don't have air conditioning. The staff are worth mentioning too. They are young but will go above and beyond to accommodate you and help with any issues or questions you may have, even with your car. They are well worth a bonus raise!

There is no sign outside or inside or any clue to anything where reception is. You have to wiggle through the whole busy restaurant full of people, through all the tables to the bar, and ask the bartender to check you in. Then, once you've obtained your key, wiggle all the way back and to the left, next to the bathrooms, to enter the hallway and proceed to the second or third floor to your room. It's a good thing that they have great waitresses and busboys who will help and lead you through that maze to your room. After that, you can now take your luggage through the back yard back door entrance if you were smart and did not take your luggage with you the first time you arrived and tried to check in. Finally, when you're in your room, you can drop everything, take a shower, change, and go downstairs for a drink or a good meal. The restaurant is pretty busy, especially on Friday nights, so expect a loud environment since they have a few banquet halls. There is also a private banquet room upstairs, which could be extremely noisy due to insufficient insulation. And now for breakfast, which scratched off all the best experiences of the hotel. What do you expect to get from the hotel, which includes breakfast and has a great restaurant? There would be no single hot dish, not even an egg, just cold meat cuts, leftover bread from the last day of the restaurant, cheese, butter, and one instant coffee or tea made by the girl from the kitchen. For the second and following watered-down coffees, we had to pay an additional 2 euros per cup, which will be added to your final bill at check out. So finally, instead of 6 euros for the breakfast you paid for during booking, you will be billed 10, 12, or more per person, like us. My advice would be to not pay extra for the breakfast since there are plenty of small coffee shops nearby (not with instant coffee) and even a bakery next door where you will get a better breakfast for your money.

Everything was GREAT!

I like the location & the friendly staff. The rooms are renovated & the hotel is always being updated. The food in the restaurant is also good. I like returning to this hotel

The hotel provides coffee & tea in the rooms, which is GREAT, but it would be nice to include some of these creamer packets. Other than that, everything was really nice.

The room was fine other than above. The food was excellent and the staff, particularly the young man who waited on me was outstanding. He was the only one who tried using what English he knew and did great.

There was some deodorizer that was too much for me. Gave me a headache and a little hard to breathe.

Good plce to stay- shame they don't offer breakfast before 10a.m.

The décor in the restaurant , the location convenient for the narrow gauge railway, the willingness of the host to accommodate my request for clothes washing although they do not normally offer this. I was able to purchase a good evening meal in the restaurant.

It seems strange that a hotel that is so aware that the narrow gauge railway is one of the area's main attractions that a huge photo of the train covers a whole wall of the bar/restaurant does not offer breakfast at a time which is compatible with catching the train,

Keurig hotel met nette kamers en goede bedden. Het hotel heeft een eigen restaurant met een prima kaart waar je voor een goede prijs kunt eten. Wifi werkt goed.

Kamers zijn zeer gehorig. getuige mogen zijn van het uitgebreide liefdesspel in de buurkamer. Ontbijt is niet erg uitgebreid. Hotelkamers zijn enkel via de trap te bereiken.

Απο τις πιο ευχάριστες δαίμονες στην Πολωνία

Πολύ ωραίο μέρος αν και δεν το περίμενα. Το δωμάτιο πολύ άνετο, καθαρό και πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένο! Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο, χαρούμενο και 100% εξυπηρετικό. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι τόσο ευχάριστο κλίμα στο εστιατόριο δεν περίμενα ότι θα βρω στην Πολωνία! Ένιωθα πως ήμουν σε ένα οικογενειακό εστιατόριο στην Ελλάδα! Το φαγητό πολύ ωραίο και πολύ καλές τιμές για αυτό που παίρνεις. Αν τύχει να έχω πάλι δουλειά εκεί κοντά, θα το προτιμήσω 1000%.

Η τοποθεσία χρειάζεται αυτοκίνητο σίγουρα, αλλά αν έχεις αυτοκίνητο είναι στο κέντρο πολλών τοποθεσιών που μπορείς να επισκεφτείς, όπως το Malborg, το Elbląg και το Gdańsk.

Spędziliśmy bardzo udany pobyt w obiekcie Willa Joker. Mimo, iż z zewnątrz obiekt wygląda na tętniącą życiem restaurację to w jego wnętrzu są bardzo komfortowe pokoje, gdzie nie słychać dźwięków dochodzących z restauracji. W pokojach jest wszystko czego można oczekiwać, od syfonu do robienia wody gazowanej, zestawu do parzenia herbaty, klimatyzacji, telewizora, po łazienkę z wszystkimi akcesoriami. Dodatkowym atutem jest bardzo smaczne i artystycznie przygotowywane jedzenie, opinie nie kłamią, obsługa jest bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna w każdej sprawie. Skorzystaliśmy również z możliwości wykupienia śniadania. Odpowiednio szeroki wybór dań śniadaniowych i przekąsek w odpowiedniej cenie do jakości. Byliśmy mega zadowoleni i na pewno w każdej możliwej okazji będziemy odwiedzać to miejsce. Dodajemy do Naszej mapy kulinarnych i klimatycznych miejsc wartych odwiedzenia.

Dużo niezgodności z opisem.

Ładnie urządzony hotel. Dobra restauracja. Dobre śniadanie.

Nie było parkingu. Trzeba było parkować na miejskim i rano biec opłacić albo przeparkować jak ktoś odjedzie. W opisie miałem mieć łóżko podwójne, dostałem dwa pojedyncze. Brak drzwi do łazienki.

Bardzo dobre śniadania, dostosowane do mojej diety. Jestem zadowolona, podobnie mój partner. Miła, cierpliwa obsługa. Gorące potrawy przygotowywane były na bieżąco (np. jajecznica, czy sadzone). Częste sprzątanie pokoju.

Trochę mały pokój (wąskie przejście m. łóżkiem i ścianą). Zbyt mało wieszaków/drążków np. do suszenia ręczników.

Angenehmes Zimmer in einer Seitenstraße des Ortes.

Sehr freundliches Personal hat uns direkt im Restaurant in Empfang genommen und uns anschließend das Zimmer im 2. Stock gezeigt. Es gibt eine gemütliche Sitzecke im Zimmer und zum Wasserkocher eine Auswahl verschiedener Tees. Das Frühstücksbuffet am Morgen war lecker und ausgewogen.

Wegen des Dachfensters direkt über dem Bett war die Aussischt nur eingeschränkt. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir nur im Hof abstellen, dessen Zufahrt allerdings über Nacht verschlossen war.

Hotel dla mało wymagających

Pobyt w hotelu oceniam raczej przeciętnie. Pokój trzyosobowy był bardzo ładny, z ciekawym rozwiązaniem – przesuwną szybą do toalety. Pokój dwuosobowy również estetyczny, choć zdecydowanie za mały. Niestety pod prysznicem nie dało się ustawić odpowiedniej temperatury – woda była albo bardzo gorąca, albo lodowata. Dużym minusem była też higiena: ciemne włosy przyklejone do sufitu w łazience i niedokładnie umyty stolik w pokoju pozostawiły złe wrażenie. Brak atrakcji dla dzieci, co może być uciążliwe dla rodzin. Do pokoi trzeba było wchodzić po schodach, co może stanowić problem dla osób starszych lub z ograniczoną mobilnością. Woda w wielorazowych butelkach wyglądała mało higienicznie – zdecydowanie lepszym rozwiązaniem byłyby jednorazowe butelki. Plusem są bardzo wygodne łóżka, ale brak balkonu może być problematyczny, zwłaszcza dla palaczy. Hotel z potencjałem, ale wymaga dopracowania wielu szczegółów, szczególnie w kwestii czystości i udogodnień.

Podczas pobytu kilka kwestii niestety pozostawiło niedosyt. Pokój nie był do końca starannie posprzątany, co wpływało na ogólne wrażenie czystości. Woda dla gości była podawana w wielorazowych butelkach, co budziło wątpliwości co do higieny – zdecydowanie lepszym rozwiązaniem byłyby jednorazowe opakowania. Dodatkowo, w pokoju dwuosobowym pojawił się problem z regulacją temperatury pod prysznicem – woda była albo zbyt gorąca, albo lodowata, co utrudniało komfortowe korzystanie z łazienki.
