Everything was amazing! The view from the pool is breathtaking and the staff are so helpful and friendly.

This part of Italy within the Cilento National Park is mainly used by Italian tourists so English is not widely spoken if at all. The property benefitted from having a very helpful American friend of the family (Megan) assisting which made communications very smooth. The apartment is clean and extremely comfortable and the swimming pool is absolutely wonderful and at many times of the day very quiet especially during siesta time (2.30 - 4.30) and also in the evenings. We had some wonderful late night swims.

We could not figure out how to use the washing machine but continued hand washing so this was not really a problem. Although the location is excellent you will need a car as the only super markets and cheap restaurants are at the Marina 2 miles away. The road is not suitable for walking. There is nothing much at the hilltop town of Casal Velino so you will need a car to go to the Marina. For a much better beach experience head for Ascea beach (blue flag) 4 miles further up the coast and head as far up as you can go. Great beach.
