I had a great stay in hotel K2.

Was disappointed in the attention to detail

The majority of the staff were pleasant and helpful. A lovely view from the balcony and getting the sun late afternoon. A peaceful room.

For breakfast we would have liked cut up fruit and more bread options. The maintenance of the hotel needs addressing. There were lots of spotlights out. The one next to the bed of room 118 and another in the ceiling, with loads downstairs. The room 118 spelt of drains so we had to have the window of the bathroom open at all times. The heating wasn’t on when we arrived so our room was cold. When we arrived the lady in reception was very off with me. She did say that I had to move out car out of the car park, we were just unloading, but she didn’t tell us that we had to register the plate otherwise we would get fined, we read this ourselves. She did give us the code for the ski locker room. We gave up trying to get into the safe and we didn’t ask the staff member on duty as already had asked so much. The cleaning of the skirting boards need addressing.

Great location within 200m of the lift, and staff were excellent and friendly. Good service and very reasonable prices. Rooms are a good size, clean and presentable, and cleaned daily.

Comfy base for a ski weekend

Location right in the centre of pretty Sauze. Good breakfast, could be improved by offering freshly made coffee. Access to a ski room which is always very handy Very spacious room, with a terrace! Handy that you can do a late check in after hours

The room temperature was cold, it would be great to have a thermostat in the room to control it. I would suggest putting two bed lamps for a more gentle touch of light in the room

The stay at K2 was great! The location was ideal (just 5 minutes from the bus stop) and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Ridiculously noisy with unhelpful management.

Lovely room, excellent shower, all spotlessly clean.

1) We were not told that access was through a pedestrianised zone and street market. We were aware that there was no onsite parking but the nearby parking we were told about was over 500 meters away. 2) when we arrived we were told the hotel was busy because of a big event. What we were NOT told was that it was a Spritz promotional event on the forecourt of the hotel, effectively below our bedroom. Now we like a party as much as anyone else but after a long drive and a further long drive in store we did not relish the loud music being played outside. We were told by the manager that the music would stop at midnight and would be turned down at 10.30pm. Neither happened. We were told that we could not change rooms as the hotel was fully booked. Had we been informed ahead of our arrival that the party was happening we would have accepted it, cancelled our booking and gone elsewhere. 3) Having parked the car and returned to the hotel with our passports as requested the receptionist (who we later discovered was the manager) was talking to a friend on her mobile phone (my Italian isn't good but I can tell the difference between a work and leisure conversation) and ignored us for several minutes before eventually telling us to bring passports back tomorrow! To sum up, it could have been a great stay but ended up being ruined by lack of thought and customer care by the management.

The bathroom could have had a better cleaning, there was mold in the shower. The room was way to warm and you cannot control the heating.

The décor was great and in a central location. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Tea coffee making facilities would have been ideal but luckily I brought my own machine and got what I needed from downstairs.

Breakfast could improve Hot portion was always cold and uninspiring No fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumber, avocado etc No fresh squeezed juice No english language tv stations at hotel
