Misskommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, enorme Geräuschpegel der anliegenden Bars und Restaurants. Bett braucht ein Update und Fenster für die Lage unzureichend gedämmt.

Great location. We had no idea that the Old Town has so many steps and could easily have ended up at the top of many flights which would have been less than ideal. Niko is really close to the main street and only a couple of steps up. The apartment is on the first floor and we didn't hear anyone else in the building during our short stay. Good shower, and pretty much everything you need. Plenty of brochures and pamphlets if you are looking for inspiration on what to see. We never actually met our host, but she was friendly in her correspondence and we had no problems.

Nothing that would stop us staying again, but a couple of things to note: At the time of our visit (November 2025) there was structural work being undertaken on the next row of buildings; our street was under scaffolding & covers, so it was pretty dark at night & we needed our torch to see the key safe; barely any natural light came into the apartment. But we were out a lot so it wasn't a problem for us, & we would assume it's only temporary. On arrival the bath mat was placed over the drain inside the shower cubicle. We put it on the floor, but the bathroom started to get a bit smelly. We worked out that the smells were coming up from the drains. Having stayed in a few old cities this isn't uncommon, and we put the mat back once we had showered which completely solved the issue. An extra power socket would be useful by the bedside tables as there is only one each side which has the lamp plugged in so you can't charge your phone & read a book at the same time. (First world problems!!) The Welcome Pack asks for guests to dispose of their rubbish which is a first for us, but we didn't have much so it wasn't much of a detour to comply. Nothing to do with Apartment Niko, but expect to be fleeced on the back of the Game of Thrones connection, so shop around. Don't buy your Dubrovnik souvenirs from a shop that says it's an official GOT merch retailer. I looked at the same things in two shops a few yards apart and found that the GOT shop was charging more than double for the same tat. If you want to pay €30 for the 4-minute cable car up the hill, don't think entry to the small museum at the top is included - that's another €5. I'm not sure the €70 combined cost was value for money. And if you are planning to see a lot of the museums and attractions, consider the Dubrovnik Pass. But the views are great!

Great central location. Not many steps up to apartment from old town and not many inside either. Has all of the things inside u would need and nicely decorated with plenty of mirrors.

We liked the location except it was very loud because music played until late.

We did not like that the music played until late. If we were young we would not have minded it as much but we prefer a quieter place. The power went off and when I texted, nobody replied. We figured it out ourselves by finding the electrical panel outside of the apartment. We had a much better stay at our other apartment in Dubrovnik, which was the same rate.
