Hotel Rosalía

This Hotel was perfect for myself and my son while walking the Camino! The room was perfect, nice hot water for a shower too! And the breakfast was included and lovely. Every person had a bread rolls with ham and cheese to add to it and a lovely chocolate pastry and tea or coffee. There were also Juices, yogurts and fruit to choose if you wanted them. All in all a perfect location for the Camino! Getting onto the Camino the next morning was the simplest you could have.

There wasnt a dinner option for the evening time when we arrived, just snacks, so we did need to walk to the main part of Padron for evening food. And after walking the Camino all day, that is a bit tricky. But its not really a negative to be honest! As it worked out very well for us. But just good to be aware of. We have absolutely no complaints about Hotel Rosalia at all and would recommend it, and would stay there again!

This hotel was very reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and quite large. The staff was very accommodating.

There was no air conditioning working so it was a little too warm in the room. There were not many food options close by after walking all day.

The hotel was conveniently located to downtown and the botanical garden. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet despite being near a train station. There a cafeteria attached to the property. It’s a short walk to the Camino from there. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Not enough outlets for more than one person.

We wanted to stay in a hotel where there was a front desk, restaurant, and close to center and the camino. This hotel has that altho we missed restaurant hours repeatedly. Staff were nice!!! Seems like it is family-run. The room was a good size. They were able to store our bikes. Best thing was earlier check in and 12pm check out.

The hotel is right in front of the train station. This is very unfortunate as the train is very loud, actually ear piercing and you can feel the reverberation in the room. Makes having the windows open very difficult. We didnt notice trains running all night tho. One of our black out window blinds was broken which was acceptable in spring but would be torment in summer months. It is a walk into town but near the park we found a great restaurant. As others have noted there is only one bed-long pillow on the bed. We found a way to share it but it is odd, something we have never seen. I am not sure price is super competitive but it still reasonable.
