Meadow Court Hotel

Lovely hotel in a countryside setting. Room was quite spacious and comfortable. Stayed just one night and we had dinner the evening we arrived which was really tasty and the breakfast was also excellent and cooked to order fresh with buffet for cereals, pastries etc. The restaurant and bar were both nice areas and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and made it a lovely stay.

Although the staff were really friendly the service was a little slow even though it did not appear to be that busy. When we arrived it was in the evening and took a while for someone to come to reception and check us in. In the bar I went to order a drink a couple of times and staff were not available at all so took a while to get a drink. It also took a while to be seated when we went to the restaurant for dinner - however the food was lovely and staff were so nice.

The hotel rooms are a little bit dated and tired

Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean.

Could do with new mattress, on bed , keep rolling into the centre of bed.

Breakfast included

The toilets don’t flush! The staff wasn’t friendly at all from the bartender, to the check in clerk, to the waitresses in the restaurant. I waited 10 minutes at the front to talk to someone about the toilets but the clerk wasn’t there and there’s no service bell to call for help. The breakfast wasn’t restocked when low (juice, butter, and fruit). The juice was gone by 10, please refill. We pay for breakfast and juice is nice to have in the morning. Disappointing overall.
