Overall good place, but needs to step up its game for a 5 star place.

The place is nice. The staff is professional and kind. Not too friendly and not too laid back.

The food is not five stars definitely. Formally, it looks like there is a variety, but it is just the same things mixed. No real flavour and taste. It is like we are supposed to offer this, here it is, we did our part!

Closer to the beach, food was excellent, pool was clean, staff maintains the hotel, free parking and available places to park, very good for little kids two different pools specially for kids to have fun.

Nothing special - definitely not value for money.

The cleaning ladies do a very good job to keep the hotel clean. Same for the restaurant staff that did whatever they could to have the tables clean and the area in a good shape.

In an all inclusive package you don’t charge for a chocolate croissant. Otherwise, you don’t have it in the options. The food options, especially outside the lunch and dinner time were so poor that didn’t worth it.

The food was good value for money. Both small towns, Nea Pori and Platamonas, are 1.5 km away from the hotel in one direction, so you can take a pleasant stroll by the sea.

The bed sheets were washed with floral fabric softener. The scent was so strong that we started sneezing.

Poor stay

The beach and hotel staff. The proximity of the beach is the biggest benefit of the property. Staff is great as well. Super positive and helpful. If you are with small children, this is the right place to be.

The property is dated and ready for renovation. This is our second stay. The room condition was poor. Two old beds with "concrete" mattresses made into one king bed. The glass bathroom door with no locking mechanism, which has a gap of 2cm from the frame, will make you feeling uncomfortable when using the bathroom, especially when your family is inside the room. No privacy at all! The room door was not closing properly, nor the facility is fully covered by CCTV. Very few cameras left and right, which is insufficient to cover the resort. We left the room for dinner and when we came back after 45 minutes we found the room door open!? The response from the receptionist was she will send the maintenance team to repair the door. When i asked "I want to know if someone entered my room while i was outside," the response was that the cameras are not available 🙃 Same as last year, the eternal problem with main elevator functionality is still persisting. All guests were diverted to use the optional external elevator, which can accommodate 4 persons only. IMHO, the owners need to spend some cash on hotel renovation. Not doubts about Greek HACCP standards, but if food safety authorities spot the AC outlets loaded with fungus in the main dining restaurant, that might be a huge red flag. Overall, very, very disappointing...

Perfect

We are really happy with our vacation in Platamon. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a special menu for our president's apartment, but the food in the main menu was very good, so we didn't use the special menu (almost). The hotel has everything for a perfect vacation. For the first time in Greece, we had good WiFi. We will definitely visit again, and again.

Relaxing Stay at a Beautiful Hotel !

Spacious/Spotless clean room at 5th floor with fabulous sea view. The hotel is located in an ideal spot by the sea with nice beach. Nice gardens, and spectacular water park for the kids ! You can explore from this location both villages of "Platamonas" and "Neoi Poroi" and all the Pieria Riviera in general I had only "breakfast" and i have not opinion for the "All inclusive meals" BUT from the variety and the taste of the breakfast i can ensure you that must be...delicious !! Hotel personnel always with a smile. Hope to return in near future

Food in full board was ok, rooms were ok

To much crowd and if you don’t wake up eary in the morning to catch a seat by the pool or sea you will end up in the lobby. For eating every day there was a line and in the end there is no place to sit with your plates in your hands. The restoraunt closes 10 before the end hour and all the machines are turned off and even if you want water you cant get it. The staff was not polite at all, especialy the receptionists. Drinks were cheap and if you are at the beach you have to walk 200m every time you want one.

Excellent stay with pinch of salt...

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Main gate officer welcomed us with a warm welcome. Cleanliness of the rooms and the great job done by the housekeeping team. Check-in was very smooth and the receptionist described the amenities included. Restaurant manager and the entire team was superb. Bar staff, super attentive as well. Recreation team, Filipos and Stelios were super friendly.

The hotel is dedicated for families with children, therefore don't expect a relaxing atmosphere. Very noisy and hectic at the buffet and the beach in the peak hours. Most of the tourists don't follow the house rules and occupies the sunbeds for entire week with towels, so the first 3 rows are always occupied 😒 The room number is attached to the room key. This is a security issue in case you lost the key. Some of the fire extinguishers in the corridors requires refill.There is only one elevator available for the entire hotel and another external one which is insufficient for the hotel capacity.

Weather. Ok parking spaces.

Half of the toys in kid pools didnt work. Roof was leaking in the room. Side lift wasnt operational 2 days. Guests were smoking (every day of my stay) in non smoking areas (just below non smoking sign) of the hotel and there was no reaction from hotel. Ppl were allowed to "reserve" place on the beach by leaving the towels and sometimes it was not easy to find place. Sometimes was necessary to wait in front of the dining hall due to the overcrowded hall.

Beach, solid meals

Some of the staff is not very friendly (e.g. if you ask for coffee you get a sigh as why not take something that does not need brewing), ultra all inclusive is actually all inclusive at best (if at all) - besides regular meals and lobby bar, there is not much else offered (limited number of drinks choices that are of less quality compared to other drinks that you need to additionally pay for + handmade sandwiches in a certain period of day for an hour), On pool bar, ordering from bar in water is not possible ( not sure why) and generaly pool is ready for renovation

Not a 5-star hotel, it is close to 3+ or 4...

Clean rooms, yards in good condition, private beach as part of hotel, large number of dishes for every meal, you don't have to leave it at all...

Rooms are a bit outdated, water in pools is not heated (in September, it is cold), snacks are too small, drinks at beach bars are very limited.
