Amazing breakfast but tired looking hotel

A large room with a huge bed was nice. The receptionist was lovely but check in is at next door hotel. The hotel is tired looking with a small bathroom and a tiny shower area which floods. Breakfast is amazing and very plentiful with a large buffet. Pool area is nice but water was very cold. The term Spa hotel implies luxury, but the spa part is very tired looking and was locked up when we visited in October. One can book a session but they need to get the staff in to carry out the treatment offered.

Beautiful Plakius

We requested to be moved to Hotel Plakius as the pool was not ready at the Myrtis. We were accommodated without any bother to a lovely suite.

I liked everything the Myrtis breakfast was amazing👍😍. I loved our suite in hotel Plakius and the location was spectacular

Great place, for an amazing value in a blissful surrounding

The Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a nice atmosphere plenty of choices and very friendly staff from reception to breakfast. The surrounding is very quiet and pleasent, the town is very friendly with plenty of choices from cafes to restaurants with an amazing price/value. The beds were very comfy and due to the quiet environment sleeping was a bliss.

the shower curtain that glues to your rear end whilst taking a shower, all other ammenities were par excellence!

Good value and location with parking

The location was good , the breakfast was plentiful & cold food tasty . The hot food we did not try as it was not appetising!! The Receptionist was really helpful when we wanted to stay another night & made it stress free.

Verry okey hotell close to Plakias city senter.

Stayed only for one night, because the hotel I usually stay in in Plakias was occupied this first night. It worked perfect for what I needed the stay for. The breakfast was good. And the athmosfare outdoor in the breakfast area was lovely.

The view from my veranda was not anything perticular (saw into a big palmtree) but I was not there for the view :-)

Hard bed but in all other ways a lovely place. Quite surroundings. A few minutes walk to the Plakias beach and restaurants. 40 in walk to lovely Souda and Damnoni Beach.

It was a peaceful place with a good balcony and a panoramic view.

On Saturday while I was there the chef did not water down the orange juice. Did they forget, do it on random days or every Saturday? Breakfast selection foods very good, though the banana bowl was not restocked after the fourth day. Chef should not reheat the frittata and serve it up a second day ( as it appeared to be ). Nice breakfast room, plenty of space and a friendly greeting from a young lady each morning.

Watery orange juice....not as many umbrellas as sunbeds....not a very extensive "spa " ( no sauna, only able to use the one hammam room if you also pay for a massage ) Poor TV reception on many channels.

Overall ,for the rate I got on booking , everything was great!The place is located within walking distance of everything you need in a small seaside village, the property is old but well cared for and the breakfast was very good.

Not great not terrible

The pool is amazing, really deep and large; perfect for escaping from the heat. The breakfast is very good; there are many options and delicious homemade biscuits too. The location is perfect as it is overlooking Plakias but far enough from the crowds. The staff is overall good and attentive. They gave us very good tips on local restaurants and beaches.

The room we were given wasn't up to par. The bed wasn't a double one but two single ones roped together. In addition to that, the shower didn't have a curtain so our bathroom's floor was flooded after each shower. We complained and eventually got a better room with a proper shower curtain and a double bed. The receptionist claimed that when booking a room, there are the options for a single bed or two single beds only. In case the guests wanted a double bed, they would have to request it. I guess this might be a cultural difference. Anyhow, our issues were resolved so we are not giving a bad rating.

The swimming pool was pretty big, big breakfast-buffet and the staff was very friendly and forthcoming! You can use the pool and spa area of the adjacent hotel aswell!

the furniture on the balcony makes a horrible sound, when moved, hopefully that gets changed!

Fabulous breakfast! Gorgeous pool! Spacious room. Everything about this hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Yesterday the mountains were resplendent, dressed up in black clouds and a rainbow, while the beach remained sunny. Amazing. The hotel is situated on the hillside with great views, but a short walk to the city center and beach. A lively place.I will return!

That's quite the list... Here we go: - the showers are MUCH smaller then they make it look in the pictures. One person can barely stand in there and the bathroom is surely afterwards totally wet, without a way to remove the water in an additional drain. You're basically showering sitting on the toilet. - the cleaning service comes only every second day (which would be okay), but they're just changing the towels. No cleaning, no changing bedsheets, nothing. - the pool is very nice, BUT it's designed in a way that the wind (quite often there) is channeled over the pool, making it cold. Also, you get wet even laying a few meters away. So, not really good for sun bathing. - the rooms are ridiculously small. We're basically backpackers and it didn't fit at all. The picture looks only a bit big, as it is made with ultra wide settings! - there's a rack for drying your stuff on the balcony, but unfortunately the drain of the A/C is constantly dripping on your clothes. Hurray! Even wetter clothes in the morning... - the walls seem to be quite NOT soundproof. If you have a little bit noisy neighbors, you will not enjoy your sleep. -the mattress seems to be a bit older, having a few plastic knobs on it. And if they're not fitting tight, you feel them the whole night.

It was ok for a one nigth stay, but definitely would not feel comfortable for longer staying.

It was an easy layoff for a night on the way to Prevali and Kalypso beaches. Good location, easy to approach. The breakfast was very good. Staff and most of the guests followed additional covid measures of sanitation and cleanness.

The wifi in the room did not work, the receptionist could not sort out the issue so we ended up using our own mobile network. We were put in the abandoned part of the hotel complex, which was fine for 1 night, but could felt a bit ignored for longer stays. The room was quite old and small, but clean. Some of the other guests were quite loud.
