Ok for a short stay

Central location, we could park on the road outside. Comfy bed and a pleasant shared patio/terrace off the room (not all rooms have this). Quiet for a town centre hotel.

The room was small and felt cramped at 17sqm, even though we paid extra for a ‘comfort’ room. No tea or coffee making facilities, but the manager gave us a pot of hot water and mugs to make some. Not the hotel’s fault, but be aware on Sundays almost every restaurant in town is closed for dinner.

Great location hotel with pleasant staff . Shame about some guests and lax smoking policy.

Brilliant position to town . Very pleasant ,helpful staff . Allowed to use EV charge point , but no other parking on site, but wasn`t a problem. Really close to markets ,bars ,restos and museums.

Although no smoking policy to whole of hotel, the room under us had a private terrasse and smoking allowed on it. Unfortunately our room filled with smoke and we couldn`t leave windows ajar, especially at night . These guests were also loud and stayed talking to gone 2am. until a presumed neighbour complained to them. The guests then took their loud arguing inside the room for more than another hour. Notices by owners were well displayed in rooms to be considerate to other guests and neighbours about noise. The normal consideration in a town situation . Bit of a shame , spoilt our stay. No apology or comment from owners the next day.

Extremely upseting and traumatic experience.

Unfortunately our 14 month toddler was exhausted from traveling and a long flight delay as well as a new tooth bothering her, she cried most of the night, which understandably did upset other guests. At 9am the hotel owner banged on our door and shouted at us to leave the hotel by 10am and called the police. We were in complete shock, including my older daughter who was turning 10 on that day. She was violently awaken and could not stop crying. As I started going down to meet the police, the hotel owner runs upstairs apologizing, saying maybe it wasn't us, but some other room. As a kind lady who had come to check to our room during the night had just told him that indeed was a baby crying rather than "domestic violence" as the hotel staff (and the police afterwards) wanted it to be. Like we told them as we were leaving: IF YOU SUSPECT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS HAPPENING IN YOUR HOTEL; YOU CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY; Do not wait until the morning or it maybe too late.

Very welcoming hotel with a beautiful church and town right next door.

The owner realized I wasn't French and immediately - and very kindly - switched to English. That is not always happening in France. After a long journey that was a very pleasant and welcoming surprise!

Espace reservé au petit déjeuner très propre, confortable et bien équipé. Sous forme de buffet très complet, jus de fruit, café, thé... viennoiseries, gâteaux, pain, confiture...

Parfait !

Nous nous sommes rendus dans cet hôtel pour deux jours, en vue de courir le Menestrail de Moncontour. L'accueil y a été plus que chaleureux, les gérants étant très sympathiques et aux petits soins ! Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hôtel familial pour découvrir Lamballe et ses environs ! Nous y retournerons pour sûr.

Absolument merveilleux ! Un petit nid douillet dans une belle demeure, un hôtel familial et charmant, une chambre cocon avec tout le confort et une équipe adorable ! Les nouveaux propriétaires M et Mme Février sont tout simplement extras ! Le petit-déjeuner était simple et complet. Tout était génial !

l'emplacement de l'hotel est parfait et très pratique . Á 2 pas du centre ville tout en étant très calme.

Personnellement nous préfèrons un matelas plus souple mais nous avons malgré tout bien dormi.

Très propre, bien tenu et contacts très agréables avec les nouveaux gérants. J’ai trouvé les clés facilement comme prévu. Jolie vue sur les toits bretons. Toutes commodités juste à côté à pied sur une jolie place avec des détails historiques intéressants, notamment très bonne boulangerie. Chambre propre sans fioriture.

Les propriétaires qui ont repris l'établissement très récemment sont très accueillants et très sympathiques. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et d'une propreté impeccable, salles de bain très propres aussi, dun niveau rarement atteint dans les hôtels de cette catégorie. Literie très confortable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir
