Location, friendly and efficient staff, great breakfast, lovely room with great view over the river.
Guests with mobility issues may be unable to access the restaurant/breakfast room/restrooms as there is no elevator, and around 20 steep steps down. My wife was ambulatory, on crutches, and had difficulty in negotiating the stairs. Perhaps this could be made clear on the website?

Our room was very spacious, the furnishings were of a character and a little dated. The view of the river and city was good. The location is good, very close to the old town and there are a few eateries just outside the main entrance.
The breakfast is really geared for bus tours, the hot selection is in chrome holders but they are not warmed. The bathroom in our room had exposed electrical cables wrapped in masking tape. The hotel parking is really non existent, there is a uneven gravel/earth area at the back of the hotel that was full and I would doubt that the vehicles were hotel guests. I finally managed to get some local currency coins to pay for the parking meter on the street.
