Everything outside the rooms is exceptional. The pool is gorgeous, the staff are fabulous, you can rent the hotel electric bikes free, breakfast is brilliant.

The rooms. The bathrooms are small and very old fashioned, our bed was two singles pushed together that didn’t quite match height on a mezzanine with the air conditioning at the lower level. The balcony doors did not lock at all from inside, there is no conditioner, no iron. It was comfortable but in no way 4 star for the rooms.

the unit was great size and comfortable. The private patio and jacuzzi were also very nice. We liked that it felt private and away from the main hotel and noise, especially children whose parents left them unattended.

The wifi did not reach out unit (initially) but that was remedied by hotel staff who were very helpful. Some parts of our unit appear to be a bit tired--parts of the bathroom floor area needs some maintenance. Equally, some skirting boards in the main areas were detached from the walls. So again, it just requires regular maintenance and attention by staff. The gym looks a bit tired and neglected. Some machines showed rust. Again, simple maintenance would solve these issues.

Outdoor spaces, swimming pool and peacefulness

Closing hours for the swimming pool are too soon, gym could be in better conditions, Staff could not communicate in proper English with us, just one member could understand us.. Breakfast is bad for what you pay
