Perfectly peaceful stay with beautiful views

We loved the peaceful setting, stunning views, plenty of sun loungers, and the pleasant 20-minute stroll along the promenade to the old town. We found the staff really pleasant and helpful too

It is a good getaway, location is quite satisfying, it does require some more attention to details, breakfast is good.

Upgrade gesture as a default with no hassle, which is a very pleasant and appreciated act. Size of room, breakfast, staff (Maja is amazing!).

Not so well maintained, most of the wooden furniture are quiet old, drawer had mold stains, fitness equipment is very old and unmaintained and practically minimalistic (not really a gym).

Warm hearted recommendation

On the sea front. Good spacious room. Good breakfast or dinner. Excellent location for the old town or Meljine harbour. It was perfect for us in that respect.

Stairs are an unavoidable curse in Montenegro, so there are some. The staff would help you gladly. If you are with a car, reserve a parking slot with the hotel it's worth it, especially in high season.

Everything was wonderful!

I spent a week at this hotel. I liked everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The room was clean and beautiful, with daily housekeeping. The buffet was also good—not very big, but it had everything you need. The location was great as well. A small and cozy hotel.

Great hotel in good location

Well organised. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Great to have option of pool or sea. Great location with 15 minute walk along seafront to centre of town. Would recommend the hotel overall.

The rooms are a little dated but comfy bed, clean and quiet so all great overall!

It’s good for the amount of money you pay and the staff are friendly

All the reception staff were kind and helpful, the room is close to the beach and when I first arrived they welcomed me into my room with a sweet treat( peeled oranges covered in sugar) , the hotel is close to many restaurants and close to the center ( around 27 mins walking), I booked a trip to croatia from the reception and they ordered for me a taxi whenever I needed one.

Our room was on the ground floor therefore there was a lot of bugs, no phone on the room to contact the reception but they gave me their WhatsApp number to contact them, the mean con for me was the twin beds they are like one meter wide you can’t turn while sleeping or you’ll fall down the bed is super small, while swimming on the pool you can’t order snacks no fries no pizza you have to go to the resturant I usually like to snack on thingswhile chilling by the pool

Beautiful

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect – right on the beachfront, just a few steps to the sea. The Old Town is within walking distance along the beautiful promenade, which made every evening stroll very enjoyable. The food was excellent: breakfasts and dinners were always fresh, varied, and delicious. The service was attentive, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our room was cozy, clean, and offered a wonderful view. All the conditions for a comfortable holiday were fully met. Staying at your hotel was truly wonderful, and we would be very happy to return!

Lovely hotel in great location

The location was great for walking to the old town and also the marina in the other direction. Great to be situated right on the promenade and have access to the water. The deluxe rooms were gorgeous, modern and had fantastic sea views (on the 4th floor). It was a quiet and peaceful hotel. Most of the staff were very friendly. Had a sauna!

No real place to sit other than on the beach or at the beach bar whilst it was open which was not that late. Some of the waiters in the restaurant/beach area were not very friendly and did not look very happy to be there. Service for drinks etc was a little hap hazard in that regard. No distinction between smoking and non smoking areas so people could just light up a cigarette next to you whilst having breakfast.

Wonderful stay

The top floor room was spacious, clean with comfortable beds. The view was stunning and nice big balcony. Complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Pleasant 20 minute walk to Herceg Novi along the promenade.

A magical Montenegrin wedding week where the Hotel Perla staff exemplified world class hospitality.

The room was quiet, very clean, and well air conditioned. The beach was superb as it was private, towels and chair were included, and delicious food. Highly recommend. Right on the promenade.

Lovely stay!

We loved everything about Hotel Perla! Room is fabulous, breakfast great and staff exceptional! Beach is right there, free sun beds, umbrellas and towels. Bar at the beach is also very convenient with great cocktails!

If I have to choose worst feature, maybe it would be food in the restaurant, even though breakfast is amazing a la cart is not so great.

Beautiful hotel, good location, however you will neet to take a 30-min. walk to reach the Old Town or a bit less to reach the Skvèr. For me it was ok, so I liked the location 👍🏽 Almost all staff members were very nice. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was very very spacious, the bathroom also had all you might need except for tooth pase and tooth bruches. I will definitely be back.

Great hotel with a courteous staff in a quiet location on the bay.

The superior room was great. The pool was very nice and never overcrowded. The laundry service was prompt and they did a great job. They offer a breakfast buffet which was really good with lots of options. The staff was nice and helpful, they booked transport to our next stop and the car and driver they arranged were both great.

We didn’t give them a heads up on our arrival time so the air conditioner wasn’t on and the room was hot the first night. After that it was great. Be sure to give them your arrival time and they will have the room cooled down for you.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location was truly exceptional. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, catering to everyone’s tastes, and the view from our dining spot was absolutely spectacular. I had mistakenly booked the wrong dates and was in a different country at the time, effectively double-booking my stay. The team at Hotel Perla was incredibly kind and understanding of my situation. Without any additional charges, they changed my booking dates and accommodated me seamlessly. This hotel truly values its guests and shows genuine care, unlike many places that focus solely on profit. I’ve traveled to many destinations, but I’ve never experienced this level of service before. I’m truly grateful to the entire team for making my stay smooth and stress-free. Wonderful people—especially the reception team—absolutely first-class.

Modern rooms / pool / overlooking the beach

Location opposite the beach . Walk along promenade to the old town . Near the cathedral and also short walk to a vineyard . We upgraded our rooms and had balcony and seaview . Well worth it . Great modern room with comfortable bed , aircon , bathrobes , shampoo and conditioner , shower gel , hairdryer . Big white towels and slippers . Mini fridge and tea / coffee making . Pool was small but good and sunbeds . Plus sunbeds on by the beach which was adjacent to the restaurant . Had paid lunch at the restaurant- salad etc very nice . Quiet hotel . Adults only here .

The breakfast for me could be better There was cereal / milk and yoghurt . However one day I think there were figs / dates but no any other day . Fresh fruit - one day there was banana , another day strawberries . There was pear but rather tasteless and hard as were nectarines . My husband looked the cooked breakfast but I could have done with more fresh fruit . The octane juice was watery ( watered down ) For me it’s fresh orange juice . Fruit and cereal . The tea and coffee was too queue for - no tea pot and no jug for milk . Coffee was from same machine . Always a queue for this and the tea was not nice This for me could be improved . Apart from this which I guess is minor the hotel was very good and excellent value for money

Hotel Perla - worth a visit

Lovely newly renovated hotel on the ocean. Friendly welcoming staff - fluent in English and incredibly helpful. Location allows east access (15min walk) into the old town - well maintained promenade allows access. Hotel has a great Sauna and pool.

'Beach' is a vey loose term in Montenegro. Prepare for sunlounges on a concrete slab - but this is not unique to Perla and common place. The warm water and setting make sure you quickly forget about the concrete

Beautiful hotel, in a nice quiet spot on the coast. Marinas in both directions and 20 mins walk into the quaint town of Hercig Novi. Immaculately clean, fabulous staff and gorgeous breakfast. Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful with queries and I highly recommend the Hotel Perla. B&B rates very good value.

Loved this place!

THE kindest, most welcoming staff I have experienced in a while! That alone goes a long way but, also the facilities met my expectations, to say the least. Breakfast was really good plus, the staff were more than willing to get you fruits or something missing from the buffet. All in all, a really pleasent stay at Perla!

Great vacation in Herceg Novi

The staff is incredibly nice, welcoming and attentive, they really made sure we were happy with our stay at Perla. The facilities are great, not too crowded, super clean and really well maintained. We loved everything from the really speacious room, to the reach breakfast and dinner buffet, the kind staff and the incredible view of the sea! It was great!
