Great hotel right in centre of town!

Fabulous hotel - right on the lake with the lake room and balcony a great choice! Free sunbeds and steps into lake made this perfect. Great food also (other restaurants in Malcesine just did not compare!). Tasty, fresh and made in their own kitchens (with 10% discount) and attentive staff made this a great choice. Maybe hotel is a bit dated, but it’s a fabulous location, comfy and clean.

Perfect location, but the hotel has a classic old style.

The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly, and the city is so charming.

The double bed was not connected or fixed so while turning whole bed was moving. The towels were like table cloth, so thin, and not real towels. There were also no -do not disturb - signs in the room.

Would visit again if I'm ever in Malcecine again.

Good breakfast with a variety of options. Staff was super nice and helpful. The room had a good and easy to use air conditioning and the cleaning was very good every day. There was an option to swim in the lake from the hotel front.

We found one sugar worm, but other than that the room was clean. Also we did not expect the room to have two floors. The bed was upstairs, while the toilet, sofa and cupboard were downstairs. Could be a problem for some people. Thankfully, we are both able bodied and had no trouble with the stairs, just something to keep in mind.

Idyllic romantic stay

Superb location on the lake front with excellent breakfast and veranda sunset dining. Easy access to ferries and bars/restaurants and local shopping

Prior information on access for bag drop off and options of the cheaper parking options including on street meters would have been helpful as the hotel is in a pedestrian zone.

You can't beat the location, food & views.

Location! Fabulous location and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also very good and the views wonderful. Having AC was key!

Pillows & sheets are low quality. The breakfast is served inside instead on the beautiful deck overlooking the water. The AC is not very cold but does the job.

Great location, views and food, friendly staff

Great location in the heart of Malcesine, great views from the room, great restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food and 10% discount for hotel guests.

The room is a liitle outdated and the wooden ladder to the 2nd floor in the family room looks dangerous as we were travelling with 2 year old child who could climb and fall down from it. Also, be sure to take care about the parking options in Malcesine, because hotel can't provide the parking as it is situated in historical center.

Great location but hotel needs a refurbishment.

Location and staff were excellent. Lift up to upper floors. Good view from room. The food in the evening was excellent and good value especially with 10% residents discount. Great views and so convenient for the ferry. Staff helpful and very friendly.

No air conditioning in room - broken despite instructions on how to use it. No fridge, no kettle so no facility to make a drink. Room dated. Breakfast adequate.

Lovely stay

Great location, ferry stops few steps from hotel. Cable car and bus stop very closed too. Restaurant was lovely, ate both evening there.

Furniture could be updated in the room but maybe that’s a style thing 🙂

Amazing location right next to the lake 😊 The staff were very friendly & helpful & although the hotel is a little old fashion the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.

When we came in there was a lady receptionist who was not very well oriented in the situation. Luckily, another staff member, a gentelman, came by and was extremwly helpful.

The original room we have been assigned was ot in the main building and was not heated at all. The lady receptionist tyy try ied to bully me into that room saying thst that this was the very roommI reserved ?????? - since when do you reserve a given room NUMBER???), but the other staff member helped with it right away

Amazing location in font of the Lake!

The Hotel is located right in front of the Lake, with amazing view! Many restaurants, cafes and shops a short distance from the hotel. Room was nice, clean and the beds comfortable.

There were no shutters or blackout blinds and with the street lights on all night it could be difficult to sleep if you like the dark!

Wonderful location , right in the water and completely central to everything in town. I appreciated the on-site restaurant and lobby sitting area ;although I didn’t use it , I enjoyed seeing others sitting in the overstuffed sofas and chairs and socializing and having drinks from the adjacent bar area . . The woman at the desk was incredibly friendly and helpful . Given that it was a brief, one night stay, they graciously accommodated my luggage so I could have extra time in town before departing the area . The breakfast was shockingly extensive , tasty and enjoyable . The on-site restaurant had beautiful views , delicious food , very reasonable prices and I additionally got a discount for being a guest . The last minute room booked through Booking.com was extremely reasonable in price . The room was basic but very clean and met my needs . I was overall extremely pleased with my choice and my stay and would absolutely recommend this property .

Although the room was fine , there were 2 bare bulbs , which were a detraction from the quality of the room . My plan was to splurge my last night of vacation on a nice dinner . The food was very good. The servers were pleasant , but too busy, I guess , as service was extremely slow , such as to negatively impact the dining experience . The other server didn’t have my table but was very available and was doing other clean-up and side -work, while my waiter was so busy he could never get to me in a timely fashion . Long waits every time I wanted/needed something , including the bill. Again, I could see it was because he was so busy , but it would have been helpful for the other server to take care of my table instead as he had all the other tables close to me .
