It was affordable, clean, front desk was friendly, has a pool & great mountain view.

I liked everything.

The family run staff was friendly and very accomodating. They stayed up late to let us in the security gate upon our arrival, and provided excelent recommendations for activities in the area.

We chose this property based on the pool.  Once we arrived, they did not have the pool full and then we learned of the "extra" charges for EVERYTHING.  If you want to use the pool, you have to "rent" a towel (you are not allowed to take a towel from the room).  If you want a chair to sit while at the pool, it was also an extra charge.  If you want a table at the pool, you guessed it...an extra charge.  There is no air conditioning (this we knew) so we slept with the windows open.  There were area dogs that seemed to bark all night, then we were awakened by a neighbor using a chainsaw at 7:30 AM.  These noise complaints are not something that the property can control, it was just unfortunate.  The property did have some construction noise during the day as well.  The beds were the most uncomfortable mattresses of all the hotels I have stayed in.  Also, the shower head in the whirlpool tub does not extend high enough to stand up, therefore I had a modified shower/tub experience.
