Best way to start the new year

Understated luxury experience a surprise not the expected regular hotel accommodation. Great location , water feature in the property and Michelin star restaurant onsite makes it a good experience stay

Good place to stay if you need to lodge in this area.

Lovely converted brewery, very nicely decorated, comfy rooms, free parking. Very clean and welcoming, nice garden and we heard the restaurant is also very good but didn't have a chance to eat there.

Breakfast was not well organised, only from 8 am to 10 am on a Sunday (would expect it to be until 11 am). We arrived around 9 am and the buffet was almost empty, hardly any bread, no rolls or croissants. The charcuterie took ages to be replenished and it was refilled at the buffet instead of being prepped in the kitchen for a quick exchange from empty to full plate. It was all a bit chaotic - guests were going to the kitchen to ask for eggs. I think the owner was away that weekend, maybe that's why it wasn't up to scratch.

the location is fantastic and the hotel itself looks really good. the restaurant is also really good and the food is to die for.

the room standard wasn't great, the yellow cushions on the bed were stained, the shower was really slippery once wet and the bed wasn't comfortable at all, I've paid for a double room but what I've got was 2 single beds put together, the issue was that they weren't attached so at night, every time I moved and was in the middle of it, they would split and I had to get up and push them back together, not really good for what has been defined by the manager as a nice and classy hotel.

My stay was okay, and this because of the excess noise. The rooms were not soundproof which was hideous.

Onsite restaurant gets fully booked on a Saturday. Other (good) restaurant 20min walk away. Some upper rooms via stairs - no lifts. Some rooms have only a tiny window. Hotel is trying to be "automatic" - e.g. check out is via internet - so often not many people around. Can be a tad frustrating.

Amazing Location. Easy to find. Great value for money. The studio room was spacious. Kitchen was decently equipped and was in working condition.

Our kid got bitten by some insect on the sofa-bed and had marks the moment he woke up (and nothing till he slept so had to have been the sofa bed). When we informed the host, the response was “he could have been bitten anywhere”. Not even a response oh okay lets check and make sure its cleaned again.

The room was good, the area is very beautiful

Breakfast was not worth the money. There was just nothing to choose from. We asked for two eggs but only got one. Tiny cups, tiny glasses, everything screamed WE ARE TOO TIGHT

It’s a great stop between Brussels and Ghent in a quiet place. The inside interiors are cozy, very pleasant stuff, easy parking, nice breakfast.

We were phoned during the morning to confirm that evening's arrival time. It was a public holiday and the restuarant, like almost everything else in Moorsel. was closed. Reception suggested another and checked to confirm that it would be open. Room was well provided. Great shower. Free, on site, parking. Excellent value for money.

Breakfast was a bit expensive but ample was provided, including freshly squeezed orange juice and cooked eggs & bacon to order. Room lighting could have been brighter.

Prettig verblijf en heerlijk gegeten

Rustige ligging, ruime kamer (standaard), zeer ruime douche. Uitstekend restaurant.

Kregen in eerste instantie een ijskoude kamer die al enige tijd niet verwarmd was. Na omruilen wel een warme kamer.
