Excellent location on the beach with a nice pool and lots of kids games . Unfortunately it was raining on our,stsy so we couldn't enjoy any of it. Great breakfast buffet .

We had a lovely time except for the pool that is 19 degrees, it is cold specially for kids! If you would like to enjoy a good sleep, buy yourself a pillow, just what we did unless you want to hear a plastic being squeezed every time you move. Kudos to the hardwork of the kitchen and service staff in the restaurant buffet, excellent service and great buffet.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Valamar Meteor Hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Makarska. The hotel has an impressive range of facilities. The outdoor Eternity Pool is simply amazing, with its beautiful setting and views making it a real highlight of the stay. There is also an indoor pool and an excellent fitness centre, which offers a full programme of activities, so there are plenty of opportunities to stay active without ever needing to leave the hotel. If you do however, everything is so close by! The spa is absolutely beautiful and provides a lovely, relaxing environment. I had both a massage and a facial during my stay, and both treatments were excellent — exactly what I needed to unwind and make the most of the experience. I also included breakfast and dinner in my stay, and I was extremely impressed with the food. The range and variety of dishes available at the buffet was astounding, with plenty of choice at every meal. Everything I tried was delicious, and the variety meant that even after several days there was always something different and tempting to choose. But what really made the Valamar Meteor exceptional was the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and the consistently warm service made the whole stay feel particularly special. The combination of the fantastic facilities, beautiful spa, wonderful food and outstanding staff made this one of the most enjoyable hotel stays I’ve had. The Valamar Meteor isn’t simply a hotel with good facilities — it delivers a genuinely exceptional overall experience. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotels facilities are excellent , great pool, heaps of sun lounges( need to be early to get the best) parking is also a plus and reasonable bar area. That’s where the positives stop . Rooms just manageable , bathrooms are outdated and in some instance require maintenance in terms of toilet flushing mechanisms sticking, having a showers whereby the water goes hot cold hot cold continuous and you end ep flooding the bathroom floor . Also as a couple I did not appreciate 2 single beds slid together and 2 single doonas . Thea best to last be prepared if you stay for the children play school with riding of trike bikes in the foyer and personally I was nearly hit on multiple occasions. My wife called it the kids zoo. They are everywhere. Also I think it is way overpriced and it is a 4 star for facilities but a 2 1/2 star for rooms.
