Finikia Memories Hotel

A beautiful and convenient location. We originally booked into another hotel for 10 days as part of an EasyJet package holiday.We stayed the first night and at 8 am the next morning booked into Finikia using Agoda. We had stayed at Finikia memories in 2023 so knew it’s standards but we we thought we would try a different location this time. Despite losing the money for the first hotel it was a fantastic decision. The staff at the hotel, without exception are amazing. Our booking included breakfast which we ate in the open air restaurant with an amazing view of the Caldera and Oia.We also took some evening meals in the restaurant and highly recommend it, for the quality of the food, the service and the ambience, ie watching the sunset over the Caldera without being part of the crowds in Oia. Oia is a 10 minute walk away although there is also a bus you can take, it stops just outside the hotel. The return bus journey goes via Fira first. I cannot recommend this hotel enough it’s a perfect Greek location, for a Greek island holiday. We had beautiful suites, both times we stayed here. Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows, with fresh laundry and towels. Our room had been cleaned and laundry changed by the time we returned from breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who helped me to arrange an airport transfer, using the hotel service, when EasyJet, who were difficult to contact and then unhelpful ( but that’s for a different review) failed in this respect. We got home last night, there’s every chance we will return to Finikia Memories in September it’s very unusual for us to ‘repeat visit’ but this is the perfect place to chill out, relax, rewind and appreciate this wonderful world we live in, while still being close to sophisticated Greece and without being isolated.

We were completely thrilled with our recent stay at Finikia Memories Santorini. It is perched on the slopes of Finikia village, a short walk to Oia and therefore away from the crowds of the caldera viewers. It is a 10-12min walk along a road without much pavement so this is something to bear in mind if you have little kids. The rooms are spotless and well appointed, the front desk and restaurant were truly fantastic and we enjoyed every interaction and meal at this lovely place. WiFi isn’t great within the room and does better in the open areas and very well at the restaurant and lobby. The kind and friendly service and delicious breakfasts stood out to us and we left with great memories indeed!
