Very tranquil oasis….lots of trees, tropical plants, quiet sitting areas, despite being on a very busy street. Pleasant relaxing music played all day….Rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff were so very helpful, friendly and gracious. Good “ home cooked “ breakfasts with lots of choices. Guests allowed to book a jacuzzi for 90 minutes …book the one on the upper terrace for privacy and relaxation. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the centre of town because you are travelling by bus instead of higher up on the steep hillsides.
Only caution is that the hot water in the shower was VERY hot, so it takes some time to adjust to the right temperature because the cold water tap didn’t move very far….
Everything else was great…owners have put lots of thought and care into creating this spot.

The location and garden was really lovely and the live bands over the weekend were also good. The receptionist and parking stuff were helpful and friendly.
The restaurant service was not great. There was an unpleasant pressure to tip the restaurant staff during breakfast times, as if it wasn't optional, I didn't like that at all. All eggs that we had for breakfast were way undercooked, almost raw, couldn't eat them! The room that were given with this booking was not featured in any of photos of the website and unfortunately was a lot smaller with no bath, not quite as nice as the ones on the photos but in all fairness it had everything you needed and was clean.
