    We had ana amazing stay. Not only were the facilities and amenities top shelf, bit the staff even brought a small birthday cake to my room, as we happened to be staying there for the occasion.

    The hotel is located in a quiet region of the city, but still close enough to the river where people go out. The room is nice with a lot of light. There’s even a small balcony to enjoy some outdoor time. There’s a pool for use, but the sauna costs for an extra 5 euros.

    The room was a bit smelly. Not sure if this was specifically a hotel issue. The entire quarter seemed to suffer from some sewage issue. Was better the next morning - maybe we got used it. A disaster was the EV charging stations in the parking garage. If you are not a registered WVV customer you need to connect using an app. However there is no mobile service in the underground garage and no WiFi. Considering that this is the parking garage of the Conference Center one wonders what German engineers are thinking when they set up these charging stations. The hotel will not take responsibility and at the WVV service center they were apologetic but believe this will never change. So you end up running up and done hunting for a stable mobile service. In the end we managed but come on guys. It shouldn’t be that hard and certainly shouldn’t take 45 minutes to get the EV charging set up.

    We booked a room and once we checked in, it had a foul smell right from the corridor. When we opened the door to our room, it got worse. Think old pipes. Staff kindly moved us to another room. But yet again, the same foul smell. The third time we were moved, it was in another floor, but once we opened the door, someone was already inside, in their underwear! It was an embarrassing situation for all parties. Once again, we went to the reception. Staff kindly moved us to another room, upgraded our booking and offered to accompany us to the fourth room. This one, was the one we stayed in.
