Spacious, elegant, professional staff, and top-notch facilities.
I don’t recall a single thing my wife and I disliked during our stay.

The hotel is set in beautifully maintained grounds a short walk from the centre of Bonnieux. We were travelling with our 3 month old and the hotel was so accommodating, providing us with a cot, baby bath, baby towel, bottle warmer and toy! We felt so welcomed and they made our stay so easy!
The breakfast offering was a little limited.

The property was beautiful. Lovely grounds, beautiful rooms, and very nice pool, spa, etc. and a great breakfast.
The staff could have been more courteous and welcoming. We took a long flight and requested an early check in and were simply told no and that check in was 4pm. The food at La Bergerie also needs improvement. Lovely restaurant but most of the food at dinner did not taste good.

The location, views, facilities all wonderful. Hotel staff so helpful and kind. Electric bikes were of great quality and worth the money to get around the local towns and vineyards (super hilly so make it so much more fun and doable). We also had a fantastic meal as part of the ‘four hands event’ at Le Bastide, which will forever make the stay memorable
Nothing. But worth noting it is a very steep walk back from town which was fine for us but may be more challenging for others -
You can drive but will encounter hills / steps regardless

The grounds are beautiful with great facilities including two pools, padel court, spa and various activities including yoga and pilates classes
Service came a little short given the price tag in particular at breakfast and dinner at La Bergerie; food options are also limited if staying for more than a few days

The setting is stunning, with refined interior design that creates a warm and elegant atmosphere. We also enjoyed the live singer in the evenings and the exhibition of a local artist, whose works were both beautiful and accessible. Everything contributed to a very special stay.
Nothing significant to mention, everything met our expectations.

Restaurants need better staffing

Amazing location. Great food. Very nice and comfortable rooms.
The staff was terrible. Arrogant and forgetful. It felt they were doing us a favor by answering our questions. Not what you expect when you are paying 1600 euros a night. They many times forgot to get back to us regarding our requests, and when we followed up they said they had sent a WhatsApp message - which they hadn’t. I would not return there simply because of this.

The stay was very disappointing. The wall lamps will light up from time to time no matter we turn it off or not. It is a serious problem when it was at night. My husband is very sensitive and he barely fell asleep that night because of the lamp problem.
We have to leave early to catch the train in the coming morning. When we went to the reception, we didn’t get any greeting and waited for 10-20mins before someone comes to us. There is only one staff at reception who was handling another guest’s complain. When we told the staff about our experience, she promised that she will report to her manager and get back to us about the solution/feedback. She asked for our mobile and email. Because of inefficiency at reception, we were late in car return and charged for additional amount.
However, two weeks has passed. We received no contacts, not even apology from their manager. I don’t think that should be the way how a luxury hotel handle this!!

The moment you enter Capelongue you are welcomed by a charming valet who whips away your car and luggage, then offered a cold refreshment or coffee or both while you check in. We were upgraded to a lovely two story room with a little terrace and close to the spa and pool. The rooms are lovely, the setting is amazing very provencal with lavender, rosemary and summer flowers in bloom. We ate at La Bergerie the more casual restaurant for dinner twice , the food was great and the setting lovely. This is a 6 star hotel could not fault anything.

Breakfast was great - good buffet selection and coffee. Beautiful grounds and swimming pool. The massages we received at the spa were top-notch.
The lunch/dinner food at La Bergerie wasn't as good as the breakfast. This just meant we explored the surrounding towns a bit more which were really lovely, so wasn't such a bad thing after all!

A beautiful hotel and wonderful location. Tasty food. Convenient parking. They even upgraded us for which many thanks
It is a small point but they seem to have a small cleaning crew. Our room was cleaned towards the end of the day which was a bit annoying but not a deal breaker.

I was quite happy with the stay. However, they wrongly charged me for the upgrade. I couldn’t get any response from WhatsApp or email when I tried to reach out- please see the attachment . This makes me feel frustrated and ruined the memory of stay. The charge is only few hundred euro but the service and respond shouldn’t be this as an 5 star hotel.
The service and respond didn’t meet the 5 star hotel standards

Beautiful location, the pool is excellent. We loved the nearby towns. The facilities were beautiful.
We ate dinner at the main restaurant option (not the Michelin star one) - we really didn’t enjoy this. The food was very overpriced for the quality of the meal. The food was average at best. You are much better off going to a nearby town to eat a delicious meal or the Michelin Star on-site restaurant. We ate amazing meals nearby.

Beautiful setting, stylish rooms and an amazing breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner at La Bergerie and the easy access to Bonnieux and other villages. It was super relaxing and we had a great time.

Beautiful scenic surroundings with wonderful gardens. Very friendly staff.
Housekeeping was not precise. We had a 3 bedroom suite for 5 people, and did not have enough bath towels, so always have to keep asking…one evening, the resort ran out, so had to use hand towels. Vanity amenities was not included, shaving kit, tooth brush, etc. only cotton swabs. If you like the cabin feel, loft bedroom had ants and spiders were building nests. A bit far from everything, so you need to have a car. Or you can walk for 20-30 min. On site restaurants require advance reservations. At most a 4 star resort.

Beautiful interiors, comfortable, with good facilities. The restaurant was good for dinner. Breakfast was a bit average. The restaurant felt understaffed and stressed out at times.

Excellent location. Beautiful landscaping and set up. Great pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and nice facilities.
The suite (the tower) - the layout is problematic. WC downstairs, shower open and sleeping 1st and 2nd floor. Living room is not comfortable and has super dingy lighting. There seems to be too little staff to attend to pool related matters. We found 1x during a whole week a pool towel being available - in all other cases the tray was empty and we had to ask and it took a good 20-30 minutes for towels to appear and sometimes they did not all appear. The Menu at le Bergerie should change during the week to provide some choice and options for those staying longer than a weekend.

Exceptional service from every single staff member we encountered. Everything at the property is of the highest quality and delivers a luxury and tranquil experience from the moment you arrive.

The location ++.
The room was really nice and comfortable.
Decoration is well done.
Lack of experience of the staff, just doing the minimum, no extra miles.
The place has no soul, nothing special to create a memorable experience.
Meals and consumptions are over priced.

A wonderfully beautiful hotel.
The terrible service (on various accounts and on multiple days) makes the hefty price not worth the visit.
