We enjoyed our stay here very much. Pool and beach area are beautiful and had to drag ourselves away to visit the classical sites. Great location too, easy access to so many sites, roads fairly clear in September and the hotel being just outside Kalamata we didn’t have to navigate city centre. Probably need a car if staying more than a couple of days, there’s nothing within walking distance but there is an ample car park and a restaurant on site. Messinian staff were friendly and helpful, especially Christoff in the restaurant. All areas immaculate and the room was spacious with splendid views out to sea from the balcony.
Overall excellent but the shower was small and the room a bit spartan, we could have done with drawers to unpack our clothes and a chair – there was plenty of room.

Lovely room ,nice balcony with beautiful views and had a nice terrace,beach and pool. Showers poolside very helpful. Good things in room e.g fridge .Easy to get to Kalamata.
We would have liked a kettle and real orange juice at breakfast but these are small quibbles.

This hotel has a stunning beach front location. The beach has pebbles, so beach shoes are a must, but it makes the sea really clear, and I was lucky enough to see a loggerhead turtle, which nest in the area, on one morning.
Restaurant options are limited. Hotel restaurant wasn't used by anyone. One restaurant next door, not bad but grumpy staff. Other options about a 15 minute walk. Why can't hotels provide fresh orange juice at breakfast when there's oranges for sale everywhere?
