Highlight of the stay was Fernanda, the hostess who cooked us beautiful meals each evening and gave us lots of interesting information about the food. The grounds are gorgeous with stunning views. We loved morning tennis games and chilling by the pool. The Quinta is secluded so we had a car to get round but there is also a taxi service in the area and a train station a 10 min drive away.

300 year old Quinta in an amazing setting. Vineyards surrounded our lodging and it was so peaceful. Fernanda made the experience as she greeted us and cook outstanding dinners. Dinners were an extra cost, but well worth it. We purchased breakfast with our night stays and they were big and mouthwatering. So big we did not need lunch. One of the dogs, Ronaldo, was attention seeking so it was nice to pet him so I didn’t miss my dog from home. The dog respected our space, but came when I called him. The experience was top notch.
Everything was good. No issues.

Third year in a row coming to Quinta de Guimaraes and it just keeps getting better. Beautiful place that, once again, we got to have all to ourselves. And of course, Fernanda! She’s the best hostess ever, and quite honestly, her cooking alone is worth coming here. We’ll be back!

Such a great service! Everybody is so nice! We had perfect dinner for two times. Wonderful view. I definitely recommend this place.
