Westleigh B&B

My wife and I stayed at Westleigh for one night while returning from Edinburgh to Shrewsbury and found it to be excellent value for money. Host Dave was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was very good, and the location was ideal for our overnight stop. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. Whilst the décor is probably typical of a property of this type and age and may feel somewhat dated to some guests, everything was in keeping with the character of the accommodation and did not detract from our stay. Considering the price, cleanliness, comfort, breakfast, location, and the warm hospitality from Dave, we would rate Westleigh 5 stars for this type of accommodation and would happily stay again. We parked on the street directly outside the property on a wide road where they were no time restrictions

On arrival our host greeted us with a smile and was very informative and friendly. The room had an exceptional view across Morecambe Bay. We sat with a cup of tea and looked across the Bay for about 2 hours before going out for a walk. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was excellent. Good quality and plenty to eat. Tea and coffee was available as much as you liked. We will be returning.

There isn't anything that we disliked.

Dave was very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Great location.Lovely breakfast served in a pleasant dining room. Room very clean and Seaview was a bonus. Parking on road.

This unpretentiius B&B us in a prime location with staggering views across the bay to the lake district. The owner was brilliant and exceptionally friendly. It was great value for money with nice breakfast included.
