Gorgeous property , friendly staff , well maintained , beautiful surroundings and perfectly located to enjoy Mlini and nearby areas. Honestly couldn’t fault it

Villa Carmen is in the most beautiful setting. Surrounded by impeccably maintained plants and flowers and with fantastic views of the sea. We had two adjoining rooms and lots of space. Excellent AC. As others have said the accommodation is simple rather than fancy but it’s spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Even though the sea is just across the road the lovely pool offers a bit of welcome respite on a hot afternoon! Doris and her team were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. We went to a few places in Croatia and Mlini was our favourite spot. The best swimming beaches and not too touristy or busy. The only thing I would flag is that there are a lot of steps up to the rooms which is typical to properties of this type but does mean that you need to be able to walk up and carry your luggage. We loved Villa Carmen!

Fantastic location - restaurants and bars to your left and right. Sea over the road including lots of little coves. Ferries from the harbour 5 mins walk away to other islands and Dubrovnik. Traditional style, rustic house. It doesn’t have all the frills but it was clean, comfy beds, air con, nice pool, nice breakfast and friendly owners.

Nothing really. For the price it was good value.

Location was brilliant, views to die for and being able to park was a bonus. Only met the hostess in the morning but she was very friendly.

Air conditioning unit very loud inside and also outside on the terrace . Unable to sit outside with the noise . When we went to have showers at 8.30pm there was no hot water . Room decor needs to be updated. There was also a glass door into the bathroom which didn’t provide any privacy .
