Relaxing, nice place for a long weekend

Beautiful location, nice house, friendly staff, good beds.

We were only informed after booking that we needed to pay extra for the towels, bedlinen and that we needed to pay a deposit. We didn't mind, but I don't like we were only told after booking.

Nice family home in a good environment

The property is very spacious with lots of typical elements. The outdoor area was nice with a gras field, petanque court and barbecue.

Gorgeous!

Beautiful unique gîte. Comfortable beds each room with own toilet, shower and sink. It's a funny lay-out but that is part of the charm, with a long narrow kitchen and one of the bedrooms split level which my daughter claimen as her "princess tower". The lange terrace is fenced off with a gate, which meant the dog could wander around freelance which was ideal. Beautiful views too. Loved it here!!

You need a car to get around for shipping, but if you like walking you just step put and iff you go, plenty of little paths through woods and fields it's just so picturesque.

Extraordinarily beautiful location. A very comfortable, well equipped holiday home with fascinating historical features. It was such fun exploring the house, cooking and enjoying the magnificent fire. It's definitely worth getting the firewood - really adds to the experience of staying somewhere so magnificent.

Castle-style stay with new bed- & bathrooms

Quiet environment. Comfortable and spacious bed- and bathrooms

Seating-benches at dinner table are not comfortable. The salon is missing seating for 1 person if you are with 6 persons

Lovely property with plenty of space

Board games and Carom table available and very good WiFi connections kept us entertained. View is magnificent from the terrace and the grounds were also beautiful. Plenty of space and our daughter loved the decor. Heating worked well and kitchen facilities were suitable for the stay. Very straight forward and relaxing break from check in to check out.

television requested a proximus account code to work (which we did not have). Did not use the fireplace but there was still a smoky smell in that room, I guess from previous guests.

Special location with a strong castle/medieval character, ideal for enjoying nature and silence

The location has a high medieval/castle character in a very quiet environment. Bed & bath rooms are spacious and well equipped just like the kitchen. The open fire makes it great. The small village is very quiet and within 5 minutes you can enter the forest to walk, run & bike.

The chairs around the long table in the living room are old church banks. That's nice and special but not very comfortable to sit on for a long time. I would recommend to foresee pillows for the banks.

Een absoluut topweekend, alleen jammer dat de schoorsteen de rook niet afvoert

De mooie middeleeuwse sfeer was ideaal voor ons D&D weekend. Het was een leuke ervaring om in deze setting onze hobby te beoefenen. De kamers waren heel verzorgd en absoluut ruim genoeg. De keuken was geschikt om voor 6 personen te koken. Ook het sanitair was ruimschoots voldoende en erg proper.

Helaas hebben we geen gebruik kunnen maken van de open haard. Zodra we deze aanstaken werd de benedenverdieping gevuld met rook omdat de schoorsteen onvoldoende afvoerde. Spijtig voor de 50€ die betaald werd voor het hout.

Een fantastische gezinsvakantie in een top-woning met kasteel-allures!

Wij hebben erg genoten van een midweek met onze kinderen, schoonkinderen en kleinkind in een zeer ruime en gezellig ingerichte woning. Alle kamers hadden eigen badkamer en vooral de keuken was de ideale plek om samen te zitten. Rustige buurt en mooie wandelstreek !

De keukenstoelen zijn wel wat versleten en kunnen een opknapbeurt gebruiken, maar dat is het enige minder goede wat ik kan bedenken …

Sehr schönes Wochenende

Wir waren zu 10 Personen in dem Haus und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Schön waren die Aussenanlagen mit Boule und Tischtennis. Auch die Terrasse für Frühstück und Abendessen ist sehr schön.

Die Etagenbetten haben wir als Erwachsene benutzt, sind aber eher etwas für Kinder.

Gezellig weekend met familie

Mooie omgeving. Keuken goed geequipeerd. Donkere living, zitbank aan de tafel is niet comfortabel, beter gewone stoelen. Er zijn 2 kamers met bed 1m60, Wij sliepen in de kamer met bed 1m40, dat was niet zo een goed bed, kraakte hard en matras niet top. Badkamer oké met goeie douche. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer die steeds wil helpen bij vragen.

Heerlijke week in een fijn en ruim huis

Fijn huis met veel faciliteiten. Erg fijn dat elke slaapkamer een eigen douche en toilet heeft. Keuken is heel volledig uitgerust. Zithoek is gezellig. Wat ook heel fijn is was de stilte. Ook binnenshuis hoor je elkaar niet. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad

De slaapkamers zijn ontzettend warm. Kleine ramen, echt luchten kun je niet. Het zou fijn zijn als de eigenaar overal horren plaatst want er zijn veel muggen.

Huis is erg donker, comfortabel goed maar meubels en bedden wel aan vervanging toe, harde banken aan de eettafel, bank versleten, matrassen aan vervanging toe maar al met wel heerlijke week gehad

Schöner Aufenthalt im belgischen Ferienschloss.

Die Unterkunft, welche von und liebevoll „das Schloss“ genannt wurde, ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Badezimmer und seine eigene Toilette, was für ausreichend Privatsphäre gesorgt hat. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und verfügt sogar über einen Induktionsherd, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine und einen Trockner. Auch die Einrichtung bzw. das Gebäude an sich sind sehr besonders, die Möbel stammen noch aus früheren und man fühlt sich durch die vielen Gemälde fast wie in einem Museum und alles ist wirklich sehr wertig. Das Internet ist schnell und flüssig und man hat mehr als genug Platz. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!
