My stay was very nice and peaceful.

The staff was very nice and the room was very cozy.

The stairs were a bit narrow.

This is a very confortahbe hotel that delivers on the essentials well and provides excellent value.

Located very conveniently for the centre of the town. The room was newly refurbished, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the owner of the fscility, whom I met on the day of my departure, very helpful in sorting put a snafu with the tax company which was supposed to pick me up when leaving Leuven did not send the driver on time.

The facility is small and the stairs to the upper floors cramped. I used the elevator so no big deal.

The hospitality was superb, warm, welcoming staff staff, wonderful Accommodations, delicious breakfast with sweet and savory options, walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The family room was really big and perfect for young children

It was annoying that the elevator didnt go the whole way up and the stairs had a large chip out of it.

Nice hotel for business stay

The location of the hotel is central. The room was sufficiently large and very clean. It was quiet, no problems encountered. The food offering during breakfast was okay.

Food selection could be better. Most of staff members were polite, but one was not so welcoming. Pretty pricey in general for what it can offer, although the place is exactly as advertised on Booking.

Hotel The Shepherd was the RIGHT choice for me in Leuven

Everything went well---the staff were friendly and efficient, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was really tasty and the parking was next door...would return without hesitation. And of course, Leuven was a city certainly worth visiting.

Great clean place, with good staff.

The rooms were clean and well kept. The location was spectacular and close to everything in the city.

The breakfast was not the best, but still found somethings to eat. And the elevator is very small so be ready for that.

Great breakfast in a wonderful location

The breakfast was very good. The soundproofing of our room made our stay quiet. The location was also great—not quite in the busy area but close enough to walk to places of interest. The staff was accommodating.

Our room had mosquitoes. My husband, child, and I all woke up with red insect bites.

We had wonderful time. Leuven is well situated to visit Antwerp, Brussels by train or car.

Comfortable and clean

Great breakfast, comfortable bed and generally well equipped modern room. The room was compact but not cramped. Exceptionally quiet. Almost no noise whatsover

Nice place to stay at a business trip

The hotel is situated in a quite place not far from the city centre (about 5-7 min by feet). There is a small park and a UNESCO sightseeng zone nearby. The breakfast was quite good, with a choice of fruit, cheeses, and yogurts. The room was clean. The bathroom equipment is new and in a good technical state. The personnel is friendly and helpful. There is a choice of fast food and restaurants at a distance of 3-10 min walk. I enjoyed my stay.

Location good, service Ok rooms basically equipped but without heating. never again

The room was not pre-heated befor I came and in addition no radiator was in the room. The climatisation was not reversible to heat at the same time. The only source for heating was a tiny heat ventilator. The bathroom could not be heated at all.
