Camping Villaggio Egad

I loved my room, the little attached porch and the whole setup. I appreciated the camp store and cafe as well as the free shuttles to the port. Overall, I was very surprised with how cute the whole property was.

They were a little strict about time so I feel like I had to check out too quickly after I arrived (there was only space there for one night by the time I booked). I booked a bike from the property so I had to return there later in the day, but they still gave me a ride to the port.

I was a solo traveller staying by myself in a bungalow and it was perfect. Great to have a little kitchen, which was equipped with the basic things I needed (a moka pot!). The air con was great as was the terrace. And the bed was very comfy. The bike rental and shop on site was very useful!

In the centre of the island, and whilst only a short cycle from the beach and town, the surrounding roads were very dark at night. Extra cost for towels.

Ottimo il servizio navetta che se disponibile ti porta in struttura all’arrivo e ti riporta alla partenza. L’alloggio ad igloo era tutto sommato confortevole, gli spazi piccoli ma ben suddivisi e la cucina provvista di stoviglie, pentole e padelle.

Penso che così come fornisce la biancheria da letto potrebbe fornire quella da bagno, se pure non completa, ma almeno un asciugamano piccolo credo sarebbe un buon servizio. Negli igloo viene fornita la carta igienica, ma solo due rotoli, indipendentemente dal numero di persone che la occupano e di giorni che restano in struttura. Anche qui, viene fornita ad unità occupata, ma l’ospite non paga ad unità occupata, paga in base alle persone e ai giorni che viene occupata la struttura e di conseguenza si dovrebbe adeguare il servizio. La biancheria era pulita, ma altre cose lasciavano a desiderare: la grata dove poggiano piatti e bicchieri aveva tanta ruggine da aver macchiato le stoviglie, le pentole nel mobile incrostate… uno dei due fornelli del gas non funzionava e la doccia senza tubo ti costringe ogni volta a bagnarti tutto, capelli compresi, mentre con un tubo con microfono permetterebbe di ovviare anche alla mancanza di bidet. Poi, potrebbe essere una buona idea conservare, almeno in parte, ciò che l’ospite precedente lascia: per esempio il sale; non ci credo che a fine stagione nessuno di chi è venuto prima di noi abbia lasciato il sale… il che ti costringe a comprare tutto lì e spesso a lasciarlo lì alla ripartenza, e senza che l’ospite successivo possa nemmeno beneficiarne…
