House Giulio is a bright and spacious newly renovated apartment in the medieval heart of Ferrara. Located on the first floor of a typical house of Ferrara, in the limited traffic zone and away from the city noise, the apartment consists of three rooms + services: large bedroom with a double bed, living room with sofa bed 2 places, large kitchen kitchen and bathroom with shower. In addition ', features an exclusive outdoor terrace of 30 square meters overlooking the characteristic Via Fondobanchetto, to enjoy pleasant breakfasts and dinners or just relaxing at best.
The house is located in the most 'north of the ancient Castrum fortified, economic and political nucleus of Ferrara, built by the Byzantines in the sixth century. C. From historical research, you can 'say that traces of human settlements in this position of Via Fondobanchetto date back to around the X / XI century. c. The portal of the house, built in 1500, carries traces of ancient inscriptions whose meaning is "I enjoy this ... and hope for the better," attributed to this Bonfiol Julius Caesar, whose signature appears on the capital left. For this reason, more than 100 years the house it was declared by the Superintendence for Fine Arts in Ferrara.

The apartment was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was clean and spacious.
It is situated in the old part of Ferrara close to bars restaurants & shops.
The host, Enrico, was very friendly & helpful & I felt that if needed I could ask for assistance (as I was travelling alone).

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Alessandra's lovely apartment. The apartment has everything one needs for a nice vacation. It was very clean and the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bed is large and very comfortable. Lots of pillows and blankets. Bill loved the kitchen which had a gas stove, dishwasher, proper knives and a large chopping block. It was great to have a balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine. The location is in the heart of the old historical district, and just down the street are shops and restaurants which lead right to the town square so everything is very easy to get to. Everyone bikes all over and Alessandra has bikes that you can borrow.Alessandra is fluent in English and so nice to chat with too. We feel very lucky to have found such a nice place for a vacation.
